Surface: Project Dawn Collector's Edition

Do not buy the game, there is a game breaking bug in it, and still no patch for it. When you want to interact with the "Old wheel" in your task bar the game freeze and cannot do anything with it. I only found one discussion from February about this issue, here on steam, nowhere else.

It's a shame because the graphics, storyline and general game play is fantastic. However there is a game crashing bug that still hasn't been fixed since other users raised it in March 2023. When trying to fix a mill wheel, the game freezes and crashes. It's not possible to progress without completing this task, so I wouldn't recommend it to others unfortunately.

Like the other review says, there's a game breaking bug a few hours in, and as it's just about beyond the 2 hours mark of gameplay they'll deny you a refund. Complete swindlers charging £11+ for an unfinishable game. Gave benefit of the doubt thinking maybe the bug was a one off, but they weren't deserving of it turns out. Had got it for our middle aged mum for a weekend treat, so hope you're happy fecking over her evening.

A good HOG with some spooky character design and decent voice acting. It follows the story of a lady who must find her daughter in a town that was abandoned a few decades ago and discovers more about the history as she goes. The hidden object scenes are a variety styles on how you must complete them which was a nice change up from other HOGs. The puzzles were a bit confusing or tedious at time. The wallpapers are pretty good and the bonus chapter was fun. I'm looking forward to playing some more of the Surface series.
