Вскоре такое высокоинтеллектуальное занятие им надоедает и они решают продолжить безудержное веселье в доме, где, по слухам, водятся призраки. Череда действий героев приводит к тому, что воскресают ведьмы. Надо всех спасать. И спасать мы будем с помощью мини-игр на поиск предметов и решением головоломок – ведь это игра от студии Do Games Limited. Главные герои – подростки, так что многие сюжетные и игровые условности особого раздражения не вызывают. Ну не двигается какой-то предмет без лишнего колёсика – ну что ж... найдём. Основной игровой процесс у нас тут привычный – собираем множество различных предметов на уровнях. используем их в нужных местах. Часто такое занятие выливается в решение головоломок. Нередко они кочуют из одной игры в другую, меняя свой внешний вид. Каких-либо «новичков» на сей раз я не увидел. Помимо решения загадок, нам порой дают на разгадку мини-игра на поиск предметов. Их тут несколько видов – поиск по названию, поиск нескольких одинаковых предметов и так далее. Каждая из таких мини-игр повторяется на одном фоне дважды. Помимо всего это, в игре есть три вида коллекционных предметов. Два – для красоты, третий – своеобразная валюта, с помощью которой можно обставить подвал в главном меню. На сей раз за это ачивок не предусмотрено. Кстати насчёт ачивок. Если играть на русском языке, они не работают. Внутриигровые достижения засчитываются, а достижения-steam – нет. Да, такое не раз происходит в играх от этой студии. Да и перевод на русский выполнен в виде довольно странного решения: каждый текст нам дают сперва на английском, а потом вылезает дополнительное окно с переводом. Ещё в игре есть бонусная глава со своим сюжетом и ачивками. Ну и по традиции – дополнение с четырьмя локациями. Три – из основной игры, четвёртая – из бонусной главы. Там свои головоломки, которые на основной игровой процесс не влияют. Но для получения 100% достижений, дополнение предётся таки покупать. Равно как и для получения наилучшей из трёх концовок. This is a nice story-driven HOG with a halloween theme. I haven't come across many games to scratch the artifex mundi itch, since they stopped putting games on steam, and i feel like this may be the first worthy successor that i have come across. Fans of those games will certainly enjoy their time spent here. the puzzles weren't cryptic enough to drive me crazy. there were never more than 3 different areas to travel through at one time, so i was not overwhelmed with backtracking in a desperate search to progress. there are also a ton of achievements, which was nice to see. i do feel like there wasn't enough straight forward "find the hidden objects" mini games. i am used to more of that, and it is one of my favorite parts of games like this. i was also not a big fan of the "spot the differences" puzzles, since they require toggling back and forth between the images, instead of them being side by side to compare them. maybe that is just something i am not used to though. i am not a big fan of DLC in general, and it seems strange to be an option for this type of game. i did also get softlocked at one point, but it was early on in the bonus quest, so i hardly lost any progress at all, once i figured out something was wrong. overall, i enjoyed this, and i hope to have a chance to play more of this publisher's games in the future.

This is a fairly easy game to play. The problem I'm having with this one is that the Achievements don't show up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, it didn't make a difference. It runs pretty smooth for the most part. Just wish I knew about the Achievements part before I bought the game. You do need to buy the DCL to advance in the game. Hope this helps others. I recommend this game to those who don't care about the Achievements.

Although some people are able to play it, there seems to be a C++ Visual Studio distributable that's making this unplayable for me. Haven't seen any dev response on this yet from discussions. Not recommended until fix.
