Supermarket Times

I cleared the game in about 2 hours, and you could probably do less if you really wanted to, but why would you? There's so much dialogue and funny commentary in this game to immerse yourself in for a while, I spent the first hour of my game just browsing all the products and laughing about what they had to say and people's stories. As for the actual game, the puzzles are pretty light, you can find most of the solutions just by exploring and clicking things. I liked that the game told you when there was some object to interact with in a room, cuts down on a lot of frustration trying different things especially given how expansive the map was. The visual style is pretty weird and out there and the humor might not be everyone's cup of tea, but there were definitely things that got me. If there's anything that could be improved, I just wanted more of everything. The puzzles are only a small part of this expansive supermarket and it would be fun to try to solve the issues of more people and use even more wacky products. But from what was there, I had a blast and surprisingly a frustration-free experience for this genre!

That's the stuff. A weird, nonsensical point and click with the dumbest/smartest scatological and stoner humor you can find. There's nothing else like it and I love it.

Только бы чуток монет.. Не удивлюсь, если есть те, кто часами гуляют в данных заведениях, под чёртов muzak, без остановок просматривая полки от первого до последнего товара. Ох, этот мир, заполненный всевозможными товарами! Немного, и сам Консьюмеризм будет у тебя дома, но пока нет. Пока ты наслаждаешься эстетикой огромных магазинов с продуктами из всех уголков земель. Итак, безымянный, к сожалению, Супермаркет. Он странный, зато привлекает наш взор... Масштаб его большой. Но нас интересуют не товары на полках, не чудаковатые "обитатели" (которые, конечно, заслуживают пару абзацев, но не сегодня), а... задачи. Хотел помочь подросткам купить сигареты? Кинуть камень в чайку? И прикоснуться к чему-то паранормальному? Absurd and unique point and click shopping game. Deceptively challenging puzzles, with lots of secrets to find. Propelled by a uniquely British sense of humour (think The Mighty Boosh or The Young Ones'). Everything in it is hand drawn. Would recommend if you're looking for something funny and distinctive.

Great and stupid game

This is a game about being in a supermarket and having the person at the till comment on what you’ve bought as you bag it up. With home delivery and self-checkout, I’m not sure if it even happens anymore, but it certainly used to, and it sounded like this. The game itself seems to take place in Dalston, and you play a silent, recent graduate of, perhaps, Central St Martins who probably knows all the stops along the N253. There are parts that are vile and parts that are very funny, but it’s all deeply observational and punches in every direction. I only wish the player could burn or flush the Musk shirt, but otherwise this is a great game, for the right audience. Fans of BritishProblems or Monty Python who think they understand post-Blair British humour will be left perplexed and annoyed, fans of the Mighty Boosh will love it.

Funniest game on Steam! I was sad when it was over. Goblin approved.
