SUPERHOT

so, i say this a lot, but i originally played this on my xbox. it runs great on my laptop, and its still very fun, especially after not playing it in so long. i got this off of humblebundle (they contact devs; not steal keys), so i got it on a good deal aswell. SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years.

It's one of those games I played in my teens on my old pc with like 30 fps. Suddenly I remembered about it and expected an arcade shooter with cool time slowing mechanic that made waves when it released (Max Payne is a diff breed aight). And oh boy I didn't expect this game to be so rich with challenges and abstract story (I sat through full 20 mins of "chat", had a nice laugh). I can't say the game design is genius, even the secrets' placement is better and more engaging, I had a lot of fun searching for them. But the levels themselves don't explore the full potential of mechanics, or there's simply not much depth to be found. It somehow feels like dishonored but in alpha state. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with the campaign, story additions to it and many challenges that the game offers later. And if you've never touched dishonored, go for it. If you liked bending time and taking your enemies' place, then that game's abilities will give you room for gruesome domination on the battlefield, have fun.

SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years Okay, joke done, here goes. It’s a really fun game! Controls are great, the slow mode and story unlocked mechanic are very well designed, combat is satisfying, story is short but sweet, and there’s an endless and challenge mode for people who want content after the story Though it pales in comparisons to Tree Dude, but what can you do. Either way, worth your money to get this game, core content is very short so keep that in mind if you don’t wanna do the challenges and endless mode
