In Super Rude Bear Resurrection, players control a bear named Rude Bear who is on a quest to defeat the evil sorcerer, Grimey Grim, and save the world. The game features challenging platforming gameplay, with players navigating through a variety of levels and using Rude Bear's abilities to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. One of the standout features of Super Rude Bear Resurrection is its "deathless" gameplay mechanic, which allows players to respawn at the last checkpoint they reached when they die, with the previous deaths of Rude Bear remaining in the game as ghostly apparitions. This allows players to learn from their mistakes and try different strategies to progress through the game. Overall, Super Rude Bear Resurrection is a challenging and enjoyable platformer that is suitable for fans of the genre. The deathless gameplay mechanic adds an interesting twist to the gameplay, and the game's sense of humor and charming art style make it a unique and memorable experience.

SUPER ANNOYING MUSIC! It fits the bear's reverse cap wear style, both is dumb. Super Meat Boy is one of my favorite games and I got all levels and all extras. Super Rude Bear Resurrection is similar, but worse. The little twist, the remaining corpses, are actually annoying. The game states that you never have to die to do any jump in the game and I wanted to do it like that without any corspe's help. Unfortunately there is no option to disable remaining corpses, but only an erasing radius blast from your blue annoyingly babbling fairy (the babbling can, thank god, be deactivated). But this erases not all corpses in the current level, but only all corpses in a specific radius of the fairy, which is often not enough to ensure a fluent gameplay. So that what makes the difference of this game is also annoying. Beside of that there is nothing new, just worse movement and gravity mechanics than SMB for my taste. There is the special level B3 I think where a monster worm chases you. I came to a point where I didn't even know where to go as it seemed the way I thought was forward was actually backwards. I maybe somehow did a shortcut?! So I wanted to see ahead where to go. That is teached to be done with that babbling fairy, which is awfully slow at seeing ahead. Due to bad game design in this level you cannot see ahead, because while you look, the bear stands still and is killed by that chasing monster. So I didn't know where to go and didn't want to waste my time on that. I played on into the third chapter Ruse and then lost interest. It's a mediocre game, not worth my time.
It's a good game.
Doesn't work with my BIOS. Even had a toddler in to check the settings.
if u like to know what its like to get bruttaly graped by 40 Silverback Gorillas or get penetrated by (a small amount) of Spikes u should totally play this game. To not get annoyed in this game u have to reach Monk status or actually being good at the game . Me personaly , i won´t play this game ever again. Because im pretty mentaly insane because of this wonderfull game.
You know those rare times when a bug flies directly into your ear? That but a game. Just awful in every way.
i think i found this game after almost completing SMB. I was looking for a really tight platformer to get that SMB feel. I think the dev of this game clearly has the skills to make that game im looking for, but something about this game is missing. its hard to figure out exactly what that is though. first of all, one thing im sure of is that all of the motion of the camera is off putting, takes the focus away from the player physics and character control, my eyes are trying to make up for it. i turned off every camera trick apart from smoothing, as it felt bad without it, and it still felt like the camera was the main issue. when something isn't broke, don't fix it. I think the SMB camera works well, do i recommend this for platformer players, yes and no, i think it will please some but also put others off. i really hope the dev wont be put off that this wasn't more of a financial success (i feel it might as this is years of work here), clearly a ♥♥♥♥ ton of work went into this and he is more than capable of making something great. please make more games :)
Makes me want to commit war crimes, but keeps me playing with its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome mechanics and wack-ass storyline, plus the achievements that, along with the sick soundtrack and a really cool dev that responded to my dumb ass within 15 minutes at 2am with an answer to my question along with many relevant examples showcasing both the answer he provided and just how bad I am at the game. 10/10 would rage at a bear wearing a backwards hat again
If ya want to play something genuinely challenging or alike to super meat boy then you've come to the right place. I fall in love with this title just at the moment the world 6 has started. Before that this game wasn't really that hard yet level design was at its best since the beginning. Every single level is different, have different mechanics and its own music style. Graphic is the only thing i can think of that wasn't really an advantage of this game. Well, to sum that all up, it's a great platforming game with a potential for speedruning it cuz of the length of it. It's an adventure for about 3 to 4 hours but if we add to it doing all of those pretty difficult and challenging achievements or attempts to speedrun this game then i think that time one would spent on it will get at least tripled. Highly recommend to buy and play it peculiarly cuz this was made by a single person yet the final result is at the level of the rest great platforming games from the year it was released like cuphead or the end is nigh.
