For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Super Robot Wars 30 stands as a formidable entry in the long-running tactical RPG franchise, delivering an exhilarating blend of mecha action, intricate strategy, and fan-service-packed storytelling that both newcomers and series veterans can appreciate. Developed by B.B. Studio and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, this installment marks a milestone as the 30th anniversary celebration of the series, uniting an expansive roster of iconic robots and characters from various classic and modern anime franchises. It successfully balances nostalgia with accessibility, offering deep tactical combat alongside a sprawling narrative that weaves together multiple universes with surprising cohesion. At its core, Super Robot Wars 30 is a grid-based strategy game where players command squads of giant robots, each with unique abilities, pilot skills, and transformation options. The gameplay emphasizes positioning, effective use of terrain, and managing resources like energy and ammunition. Players must carefully deploy their units, combining attacks and special moves to exploit enemy weaknesses while protecting fragile allies. The game introduces quality-of-life improvements over previous entries, including smoother animations, more intuitive UI, and refined battle mechanics that speed up the pace without sacrificing strategic depth. Each mission feels carefully designed to challenge players’ tactical thinking while also showcasing spectacular, anime-style combat sequences that never grow tiresome. One of the game’s standout features is its massive crossover roster, which includes beloved mecha series like Gundam, Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Code Geass, and many others. This diverse cast not only offers an impressive variety of playstyles but also fuels a narrative rich with character interactions, rivalries, and alliances that fans of the individual series will find rewarding. The story, while complex, is surprisingly well-crafted, managing to balance multiple plotlines while maintaining a central conflict that feels urgent and meaningful. Though the dialogue-heavy storytelling might overwhelm some players with its sheer volume of text, it enhances immersion by giving weight and personality to each pilot and machine. Visually, Super Robot Wars 30 embraces a polished 2D art style combined with 3D battle environments, creating a vibrant and dynamic presentation. Attack animations are detailed and faithful to the source material, making each victory feel impactful and cinematic. The soundtrack complements the action with a mix of iconic themes from the various franchises alongside original compositions that heighten the drama and excitement of battles. Voice acting is another highlight, with many characters returning in their original roles, adding authenticity and emotional resonance to the story. However, Super Robot Wars 30 is not without its drawbacks. The game’s steep difficulty curve can pose a significant barrier for newcomers unfamiliar with tactical RPGs or the franchise’s mechanics. Certain missions demand careful grinding and strategic finesse, and the sheer amount of dialogue and cutscenes can disrupt pacing for players eager to dive straight into combat. Additionally, while the game offers some customization options for pilots and units, more depth in character progression and unit upgrades could have enhanced long-term engagement. In conclusion, Super Robot Wars 30 is a triumphant celebration of three decades of mecha strategy gaming, combining complex tactical gameplay with a sprawling, heartfelt narrative that honors the beloved universes it unites. It succeeds in delivering thrilling battles, rich character interactions, and a nostalgic yet fresh experience that will satisfy both longtime fans and tactical RPG enthusiasts. Though demanding and text-heavy, its rewarding combat and immersive story make it a standout title, solidifying its place as a must-play for anyone drawn to giant robots and strategic warfare. I'm biased, because I thought I'd never see one of these games on Steam, but I can't not reccommend this to Mecha fans.
Played and finished it. It's pretty long game but I feel sometimes it's drawn out for too long. Nevertheless, it has so much content features so much anime robots and plenty of missions to make use of them. The game's on the easy until difficulty ramps up on the last extra missions.
