Super Grave Snatchers is pikmin like in its gameplay, but with 1 bit graphics and undead. Basically you loosely control a horde of undead to destroy villages and kill towns folk, with a bit of a humerous bend to keep it light. Overall I feel supremely MEH about this game. There is a campaign with multiple difficulties and a few different game modes like "survival" but it all boils down to the same sort of thing: buy upgrades to have more undead and then point them at the enemy, with a few spells sprinkled throughout to give you something else to do. There is not much strategy and all the difficulty comes from keeping yourself from being randomly one shot in the absolute chaos that is the screen. Its not so much difficult as it is frustrating. There are two initial difficulty levels, "Weenie" and "Tough". I started with the later and found it quickly annoying as you have just 1 retry and death is basically instant if a peasant so much as breaths on you. The former fixes all of this but now there is no real challenge and I cake walked my way through the game. So pick your poison. That said, the game was pretty fun for about an hour, where I had achieved a large horde of undead was just massacring wave, after wave of townsfolk. The novelty wears off though, leaving not much else. Also, I do actually enjoy the music and graphics. Its all very basic, but it feels grungy and indie, and pretty different, that I like it despite its unpolished and grating feel. I suspect most people will disagree with that though. In the end I am going to recommend this game on sale, its a fun little distraction and you may even get more mileage out of it than me with all those other game modes, but don't expect much more than that.

This game rules. It has the kind of purity of gameplay of games of its graphical era, but it also has a ton of depth. It's very challenging but at the same time you get enough necromancer powers and minions that you feel kind of overpowered, even if your guy dies in one hit. You kinda ride the line between owning and being owned in a way that is exciting. It's also very funny and charming. I haven't got super far in it but the tone is very enjoyable and I want to get further in to see what other crazy minions and spells there are.
Best game I've played in a while. Overall Grade 10/10. Lots of Fun Fresh concept 10/10. Good music 8/10. Art style 9/10. Skeleton Friend 10/10. Skeleton Jokes 10/10
I've been wanting a game like this forever. The music is pretty bad but everything else is awesome so 10/10 for me.
Very pink and very zombies
https://youtu.be/7g8Fr1UDS3A Small scale strategy / management game ties well into the necromancy styles. The protagonist does move a bit slow at times but not as a full detriment to the other positives.
nice gameplay, nice ending, nice music (a bit repetitive but it suits the game) and easy to understand mechanics
A really fun game. Its everything I wanted in a necromancy game.
