Sunset Overdrive

insomniac displays everything great about what they do in this game. the best movement in any game ever in my opinion, amazingly fun weapons, so much character customisation, enjoyable missions, hilarious jokes and social commentary. the list is endless. there is truly something for everyone in this game, from awesome combat, a huge collectathon and a dope ost. i really cant praise this game enough, and id do anything for a sequel

The game did not hook me at the beginning and was just trying to play through it for the sake of finishing. However, after some time and upgrades, the game became very fun and enjoyable for me to play. Peak gameplay for me was during a mission where you forge a sword and the experience was very awesome and is one of the most fun I had in a video game. Story was good, but nothing special. Howrver, it was nice meeting the different characters you get to interact with in this game. The art style was also good, and the ability to customize your own character to be as wacky as the game was enjoyable. Game currency was forgettable in my opinion and I found myself just using whatever I can afford and make the best of it. It was a fun and quirky experience overall.

Fun Traversal Game.

Just the movement and cheer fun of it is what i enjoyed the most

very clearly one of the launching points for insomniac games to create the marvel spider-man games. it's kind of like tony hawk pro skater and left 4 dead had a baby. this game is a big nostalgia point for me, but it's overall just really fun to run around in sunset city and kill zombies
