A game that doesn't shy away from it's Celeste influence, and more or less blatantly mentions it. Sadly, it fails to understand what makes Celeste good. I cannot in the heart of me recommend this game if you want that "Celeste itch" The game overstays it's welcome in the later chapters and the level design ranges from neat to terrible and the terrible outnumbers the neat 10-1.
In an industry with a lot of depressing and complex stories, sometimes its best to just step back a bit. This game is painfully underrated and stands up there with Super Meat Boy, Celeste, and various others in the 2D precision platformer genre. Only real con I can think of is that the game doesn't support Steam Cloud.

Genuinely Amazing Game! I just finished the main story with every collectible and had an absolute blast. The Game is split into 6 chapters with each chapter focusing on a gimmick unique to itself, which is then thoroughly explored until you move on to the next chapter where a new gimmick awaits. The levels themselves are all small one screen puzzles. The challenge here is not only within the difficult platforming, but also within figuring out the correct route to beat the level and collect the collectible if there is one. This is because, especially in the later levels, you barely have any safe spots. Ground crumbles, turns into a death volume, spikes shoot out of the ground or little somethings hurl bullets at you. Causing the wrong chunk of ground to fall at the wrong time means its not there when you need it to advance, but it is never frustrating as you respawn quickly and learn immediately from any failed attempt until the point were you start to see the route from the get go and clear it in one go, its really really satisfying. The difficulty is also really nice. Its starts of easy enough and becomes an enjoyable challenge towards the end without ever being too difficult that you may get stuck on a level for a prolonged amount of time. If you collect every collectible a chapter has to offer, you unlock a Hardmode version and after the main story you unlock a Bonus Chapter called the "lost levels" which is a nice reference. I have not yet played either the lost levels nor the hardmode chapters, but I cant wait to see how they amp up the challenge and expand upon the main gimmicks. The Movement is also really nice. You have a double jump and a horizontal dash which feel very nice and the levels make really nice use of them. There are also some nice manoeuvres/mechanics. I assume you are taught them in the bonus stages, but its nice that you can just play around and figure them out yourself, which felt very rewarding. The story is a story, nothing deep or philosophical, but I found the dialogue to be funny and engaging. I always looked forward to new titbits of dialogue throughout the game. The Music was also great and a blast the entire time. I just wish this game had a Level Editor, it would be absolutely perfect for that!
