Renata has been haunted her entire life by a void within. She needs to find answers that fill the gaps of her past.
She follows a promising track to an abandoned military research base. However, she soon finds out that this place holds secrets beyond her comprehension and that her obsession might cost her a price she can't pay.
Inspired by many true stories from the Brazilian military dictatorship period (1964–1985), Subversive Memories delves into a dense narrative about oppression, memory, and the scars left by a ruthless regime that kidnapped, censored, and killed thousands of people.

A great story delivered through a 90's horror game style, while still managing to stand out on it's own. With puzzles that pushed me to really use my brain for a moment (had not done that in a while). But the hardest part of the experience, is realizing that if the paranormal aspect of the game was removed, the horrible things, the innocent victims, the human suffering, it all it's still there, because this game's based on real events. This did happen... Very engaging and thought provoking piece of media.
