For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great co-op

Here’s a polished, structured review of **Subsistence** that captures everything you shared—your praise, your experience, and your wishlist—while keeping it engaging and balanced. You can use this as a Steam review, Reddit post, or anywhere else you want to share your thoughts. --- # ⭐ **Subsistence – A Brutal, Brilliant, and Addictively Harsh Survival Sandbox** **Subsistence** might just be one of the most underrated survival games out there. It blends classic survival mechanics with a unique, evolving world that constantly pushes back against you. Even on *easy*, this game hits harder than most survival titles do on their highest difficulty. And honestly—that’s part of what makes it so compelling. ## 🎣 **A Survival Loop That Actually Feels Like Survival** Subsistence nails the fundamentals: - **Hunting** feels tense and rewarding - **Fishing** is simple but satisfying - **Gardening** gives you long-term stability - **Base building** is deep and resource-hungry in the best way But what really sets it apart is the **constant pressure**. You’re not just fighting hunger and weather—you’re dealing with **hunters and rogues** who feel like a living part of the world rather than scripted enemies. They build, expand, patrol, and retaliate. It keeps you on edge in a way few survival games manage. ## ⚔️ **Hunters & Rogues: The Game’s Beating Heart** Combat is gritty and unforgiving. Every bullet matters. Every raid feels personal. The AI factions add a dynamic layer that makes the world feel alive. And honestly, the idea of **eventually trading with hunters or rogues** is brilliant. Imagine: - Bartering rare items - Hiring them as guards - Recruiting them into your compound - Building alliances instead of just firefights It would add a whole new dimension to the game’s ecosystem. ## 🧱 **Resource Grind: Tough but Fair (Mostly)** One of the defining traits of Subsistence is how **material-intensive** everything is. You need a ton of resources for nearly every upgrade or crafting chain—but it rarely feels unfair. It’s a slow burn, but a rewarding one. The only real pain point right now is **crystals**—both regular and black. The caves could definitely use a few more nodes to make the mid-to-late game a little smoother. And while we’re at it, **copper and zinc** could spawn in slightly larger or more consistent clusters. Hunting for them can feel like a chore compared to other ores. ## 🐟 **Wishlist: Wildlife & World Expansion** The game already has a solid wildlife roster, but expanding it would make the world feel even richer. Your ideas fit perfectly: - **Sunfish** for more fishing variety - **Elk** roaming the forests - **Foxes** as mid-tier predators - **Squirrels** for ambience and small-game hunting These additions would deepen the ecosystem and make the world feel more alive. And the map—already huge—feels like it’s *begging* to expand. There’s so much potential for new biomes, new caves, and new challenges. ## 🌍 **Final Thoughts** Subsistence is one of the toughest, most immersive survival games available today. It demands patience, planning, and grit—but it rewards you with a world that feels genuinely alive. The foundation is already fantastic, and the potential for future updates is enormous. If the developer continues expanding wildlife, refining resource balance, and exploring deeper interactions with hunters and rogues, Subsistence could easily become the gold standard for the entire genre. --- If you want, I can also format this as: - A shorter Steam-style review - A punchier Reddit post - A more humorous or dramatic version - A pros/cons list Just tell me the vibe you want.
