“Dangerous weather approaching, seek shelter.” Yeah, yeah - just need to scan this part for the Snowfox. And take a quick look around that iceberg back there. And I’ll grab the quartz for my new dome, too - INVENTORY FULL Oh no. Not again. “Hypothermia imminent.” Oh no. Not again. I start running and desperately wish I had a sprint function. The temperature gauge is dropping faster than I’d like. 3… There was an entrance to the water somewhere behind the next iceberg edge - 2… My vision blurs, every breath grows heavier - 1… Everything turns white. I keep running. Blindly. I listen to the fading howl of the blizzard, squint my eyes, and painfully recall that my last save was an eternity ago. And then, suddenly, water. It feels like I’m stepping into a warm bathtub. An eye jelly drifts lazily in front of me and stares at me. In the distance, its fellow eye jellies glow blue through the darkness. The temperature gauge rises; the oxygen gauge drops. But first, a short break. When the world above water becomes more hostile than the one below.
i nice continuation if the original Subnautica (+ Land Exploration). ps: I made a Prawn with a drilling arm. I named it BIG DADDY

land = ice = water so too much water
alan is pretty cool
I like it, but not nearly as much as the first. The world is much smaller, much less mysterious, and lacks a lot of the novelty of the first game. There are a lot of notable improvements: Base building is much more interesting, with more and bigger options. You can create some really neat stuff with it. Some of the biomes are really, really cool looking. The Twisty Bridges is breathtaking, especially as a starting biome. The lilypad islands are really cool, as are the crystal caves. Unfortunately, the world is really small. Most of it doesn't really mattter. There's not that much to actually explore, and your hand is held for a big part of it, telling you exactly where to go and what to find there. A huge section of the game is an overland portion on a large, frozen island, and it's a tedios, gimmicky maze that mostly serves to pad the gameplay length. If you can find this game on sale for cheap, it's worth it, but it's pretty forgettable if you've already played the original.
