It's not as good as the first game, I thought the reviews about the Seatruck and the map size and the story were exagerated, but yeah, they are true. I still enjoyed the game. I got it in a discount bundle with the first Subnautica, so, that's the way I'd recommend buying it if you want to play it.
This is truly just a Subnautica 1.5, playing it is really like playing the first game again for the first time. The biomes, flora, fauna and overall biodiversity are my favorite part just like the first, and I did really enjoy the above water regions more than the first game. The Seatruck is also a massive upgrade to the seamoth. HOWEVER, I'd place it below the original for reasons like how the map is smaller, the leviathans are underwhelming and navigation is really annoying.

Bom demais
Excellent jeu, immersif et ouvert dans sa conception, il y a 1000 façons de le terminer, et on trouve même du plaisir a y rester sans poursuivre la quête principale...
Great sequel to Subnautica, would 100% recommend even if you didn't play the first game. It is much more dialogue-heavy, which is up to you to decide if you prefer or not.
不要比较1和零度以下,感受游戏的过程,它值得你花几天时间去沉浸其中,更值得你花的钱,即使是原价
7.5/10
being the "worst" Subnautica game means very little in the grand scheme of things. ONLY being a 9 out of 10 compared to 10 out of 10s by no means makes you bad. if you're absolutely enamored with the rest of the franchise, play this. It's a blast, and I found myself even more driven to build bases and explore than the first game.
