This is a really novel game idea, a RPG/Idle/Automation hybrid, that i've only seen done before in really limited HTML5 games. The game could do a better job of letting you know just how much of an idle game this is in the tutorial however. Also, If you've actually played Loop Hero and think this is the same game, you are a complete brainlet. It would be like equating Risk of Rain and Terraria. At a glance similar, but the gameplay, what you have to think about and do etc, is completely different.
A one of a kind idle game that I would love to see a sequel for.
I don't know how this game got a steam deck verification badge. Everything is so-o-o tiny. And a tutorial makes no sense at all.
I am very disappointed, It's a very dry and poorly designed game. This is essentially a tedious puzzle game, with limited/ almost no RPG elements.
Maybe it's me, but I just never got what would be fun about this game. I would complain that it's quite repetetive, but usually I'm a sucker for idle games..
This game is very good. Actually getting all the endings is quite clever. I recommend giving this game some time to get familiar as it does get really interesting when you really get to start exploring the whole map.
The game is an idle game, yet for a PAID idle game I'd expect a little more progression or insight in how to progress. The way the game is set up, is that you just need to set it up to keep looping. and over time, the same actions will slowly cost less energy... that's it. There seems to be no real exponential progression, the progression is constant and actually decreases in speed. I would not be shocked if I would need an extra 50+ hours to beat the game just to progress a tiny bit further. This is a game you'd leave on overnight. And if the game was free, that's a fair mechanic. the game is NOT free, so I'd expect offline timers of some sort... there's none of that. The mechanics are also a pain to use. It's exceptionally frustrating to try and inject new actions into a loop, to the point where you might consider remaking entire new loops. There's potential in the concept, but it needs a HUGE amount of work before I'd even consider it a game worth playing til completion.
I'm sure my analogy isn't original, but Idle game dressed as a Fantasy 'Groundhog Day' is a dope concept.
Stuck in time suffers from an early game drag. While I can appreciate what it wants to do in the long run, taking nearly 20 minutes to get out of the "tutorial area" doesn't really lead for an interactive game. This exists purely for background progression, so if that's what you want to have your play time used for, the this is the one. I desperately wanted a speed up function, but the game's whole loop is that you speed up each time you go around the game, but it's not for me.
Love this game. It's rare an idle game so well made. As a suggestion: Adding a loop chronometer and other run status would be a great addition
