Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

very disappointing
I loved this. The parkour mechanics of the original Stride work great in a larger game with levels and bosses, and the combat is fun. The best part is the level design--a lot of care went into the environments. I loved the office buildings with the little meeting rooms, rows of desks, and cafeteria spaces. It reminded me of many of the "collaborative work spaces" I have been in, but here you get to crash through a window after a running start, jump to a ledge, and swing into a new enemy. It's all good fun. Is the game perfect? No, it could use some polish. There are times where it is hard to pick up an item (I grab onto a surface instead) and sometimes I accidentally wall-ran when I didn't intend to. But there is enough good here to make the game well worth it. This is a solid VR experience.

Works on Reverb G2. Got this for free for owning the original Stride. Stride:Fates is terrible on its own and even worse as a sequel to one of the best VR parkour games. Awful pacing, brain dead enemy AI, bland generic campaign with most ideas stolen from HL:Alyx and HL2, janky combat, item handling and even traversal. Who looked at the original Stride and thought: you know what, the sequel should have way less parkour and more unavoidable combat and boring, pacing breaking puzzles? And while we are at it, let's add the worst forced stealth level ever made (which is a really high bar in videogames) with completely disabled parkour features. Also, it feels like S:F's store page should be marked for scam. The screenshots are in no way representing the real in-game visuals, that have terrible and not customizable lighting and antialiasing. The only minor saving grace S:F has is the Slum Jungle level. It is basically a revamped version of the original Arena mode, that was made worse, but at least is still playable, unlike the main campaign. It is not the worst VR game ever made, but the way it taints the legacy of the original is unmatched.
Everything about the game just feels a little bit off.
this game is incredibly janky, boring, and basically unfun. which is a shame, because the movement is great, but the incredibly janky combat, and the environment at the start which looks really cool is only there for a couple of levels, doesnt help. ALSO, WHEN YOU GRAB A RIFLE THE OFF HAND DOES NOTHING AND IT ACTS LIKE A PISTOL, WHAT?! i gave up after that. missions are broken with no clear objective either. its a complete and utter mess. was promising in the first mission, then it dropped off a cliff. refund.
frankly i hate it the combat sucks the parkour is glitchy and at most times very clunky the story is bad the gameplay is repetieve the music sucks as there is only 1 soundtrack and the graphics are good and the performance is great but the game in general just sucks
I got this for free. Still want my money back. Just play STRIDE, the OG.
