About

In a modern fantasy world, college dropout Grace is granted the power of a Muse - power she’ll need to find out the truth behind her predecessor’s death before time runs out. You’ll decide who Grace allies with, who she can trust, and who may betray her in this beautifully hand-illustrated roleplaying musical.
Written by David Gaider comes Stray Gods - an urban fantasy tale of finding your place, taking charge of your fate, and discovering answers. Your choices will change the endings, as well as the path you take to get there.
A compelling story of hope, self-discovery, and forging your path.
Adventure, love, and songs await!
Charm, negotiate, or strong-arm your way through their world as Grace, playing through original, fully interactive musical numbers composed by Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory, Tripod (musicians Scott Edgar, Steven Gates, and Simon Hall) and Eurovision Australia’s own Montaigne (Jess Cerro). Fully orchestrated and performed by an all-star cast, you’ll feel as though you’re right there on the stage. With thousands of potential variations based on your choices, you’ll craft the soundtrack to your own one of a kind musical experience.
Choice and consequence built from the DNA of RPGs - no two playthroughs are the same.
Delve into a hidden world of mythic Greek gods and monsters as you get to know a cast of hilarious, enigmatic, and compelling characters. Forget what you know about these mythological beings - in Stray Gods you’ll forge friendships and find foes with many familiar names, but not so familiar stories. Play as star and stagehand as you determine the story you want to tell through conversation and song.
Find friendship, love, or yourself.
Build friendships with mortals and Gods alike. Stoke the fires of romance if you so choose - explore, pursue, and confess your love with four potential paramours. Decide who you want to be through every choice. David Gaider’s storytelling and characters come to life with performances by an all-star cast, with the likes of Laura Bailey, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and more cast members across video games, television, and Broadway.
A musical for video game lovers, and a video game for musical lovers.
With all the comedy and tragedy of your favorite stage shows, Stray Gods is a tongue-in-cheek and heartfelt reconception of Greek mythology combining what we love about contemporary musical theater with video games where character and story take center stage. Collaborating with some of the best in music, broadway, television, and games - Stray Gods is a debut not to be missed.

You can be the "conductor" of this musical. wow, this makes you feel so talented. thumbs up. Well, I liked the characters. the romance part was good. But I feel there aren't enough stories of pain, hatred and farewell that what the music is good at telling without explicit words. this is just a game after all. I also don't know why they tried to be political if the music can't follow.
Schönste Spiel seit JAHREN! Und ich musste weinen... :'(
I love a good choices matter game, and Stray Gods adding a bit of a musical twist to it certainly wanted me to wish that there were more games that had this unique aspect in every other game. The art, the characters, the lore, almost everything about this game made me enjoy it from start to finish. It also tempts me to run another playthrough in as I feel like I've only scratched a bit of the surface. Back to my case in point about the almost bit and not to spoil any would be new players, one minor setback was the ending, not for the choices I made, but for who ultimately is behind it all. It felt a bit too predictable. I feel like there were so many ideas of who could be behind it, and I just feel like that one plot point missed the mark. Besides that, I still feel like this game deserves to be played at least once just to sit back and enjoy the music, and just to feel like you're being transported yourself in a different time all together playing as Grace.

Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 10 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Хорошая история, неожиданно про богов, мне нравится.
Мені сподобалась, досить швидко прив'язуєшся до персонажів
Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical is an incredibly work of art, that combines interactive storytelling with outstanding musical performances. Every choice feels meaningful and tense, and the characters and songs are beautifully executed. The game is incredibly done and stands out as one of the most unique narrative adventures I've played. I wish more people would look at games like this! maybe in the future... I give it a 10/10
Buen juego.
such a good game. love the songs! it gives you such an amzing story as well.
EDITED: Okay so I'm at my second runthrough now and the music is growing on me bit by bit. It really depends on the choices you make during a song. Like what everyone says, we are literally doing on the spot singing but making choices for Grace. It got better during the Freddie and Pan trio when I started choosing different outcomes. Interesting. Still, I think the musicality could still be improved in this game. :) The visuals are stunning, I'll give it that. And of course, the VAs are very much talented. What is lacking for me is the development of the music. I graduated with a music degree and I know there are a lot of several contemporary music especially in Broadway musicals. However, the first song in this game did not make a good impression on me but I chose to give the benefit of the doubt. When the rest of the songs came, I just couldn't find myself enjoying the rest of the music. There's so much off-beat entrances and most of the time, the melody of the singers do not match the harmonies of the instrumentals. I see the potential with vocal harmonization but it didn't land either. The syncopations got even more syncopated which I didn't know would be possible. I'm sorry to say but the overall timings and musical production is not that good given this game is supposed to be a musical. The only one I quite enjoyed was Aphrodite's song in Act 2. My ears aren't 100% pleased. BUT, this game is really showing promise so I would still recommend it. This interactive mystery novel is proving to be a delight. What's keeping me going are the locked achievements here on Steam lol but I'm enjoying the game despite of the music. If some players are enjoying this a 100%, good for them! I hope if this game gets developed further in the future, please improve the song writing and musical direction. Trust me, that will boost this game's quality even more. :)
This game was so good, the lyrics fantastic the singing really nice, that your decisions have actual consequences let me be so clear the anxiety i feel in some of these songs is so real.
