Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

CHAOS CHAOS CHAOS. The story is so bad that is good, actually Jack is so edgy that is hillarious. Gameplay is awesome (Monk best job ever) and some bosses are really good I liked this game. Specially the dungeon that resembles FFVI it's a celebration of the franchise.
Incredible game. 9/10 The story is a bit abstract and really assumes you played the original Final Fantasy to fill the gaps. I never got tired of Jack interrupting monologues with punches or saying he doesn't care about why somebody is in the way. The usage of it is frequent at first, but it keeps the pace of the game moving when its already assumed you know who that character is and why they're in the way. By the middle of the game, Jack has started to care about the world rather than just fighting; and he stops interrupting. This is the same point that they start to weave together the new story bits that weren't present 30 years ago. I knew how the game ended from spoilers and memes and it still surprised and satisfied me. You can definitely tell Doom Eternal came out the year before this with the simple glory kill system. My personal favorite was spine blasting the harpies, but glory killing various structures came close. There are similarities in animations all over the place. The only things going against it are a lack of a map in levels, the treasure chests are underwhelming, and some of the bosses suck when compared to others. -Tiamat is one of the greatest bosses I've ever fought. She makes full use of all the game mechanics. The next few bosses after her only have a big health bar and model. They'll throw you a few attacks and let you kill them easily. I wouldn't have counted this against it if Tiamat had come later in the game, but she's one of the first bosses and it felt like she took the boss design budget in full. She's effectively the baseline they presented. -Navigation on a few levels is hell if you take a wrong turn. Especially the floating islands towards the end of the game. It might have been a design choice to hide secrets, but the secrets either make noise for you to find them or are the garbage chests you can comfortably miss. -The treasure chests are consistently disappointing, which is a sin in any RPG. They spit out random rolls like its Borderlands or something. I would have liked to see some unique items in the chests, or at least some of them. It might be due to item level being king though. Any unique item would almost certainly be powercrept about half a level later unless they gave them inflated levels at the point you found them. It doesn't really matter which way they went; all the roads would have had a different problem.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Goated game. Clears every other Final Fantasy.
It's good and bad at the same time, but worth it if you get it on sale. I enjoyed the boss fights alot.
Basically Nioh-like final fantasy. What i dont like in nioh is its loot system, and this game simplified it. Or at least let you farm it easier than nioh. Level design can be better. Second dlc is the best for its labyrinth/tower system. Third dlc is the best for its "easy equipment upgrading" qol.
Amazing game, the thing crashes all the time in coop online for me though so i hate that. other then that its been great
its pretty good gaameplay, def get it if you see it on sale!!
probably my favorite game
Finished the whole game, including the postgame and all DLCs, without using Extra Mode, out of sheer defiance of most guides on the game I've ever read. This game is an incredibly fun time, but, can be roughly divided into two theatres. You have to play the action game part pretty competently, or you'll just die. But, if you don't play the RPG part competently, then you'll do so little damage, and take so much damage, that your fights become hopeless. So, to thrive in this game, you must play both sides equally well... ...And, unlike most open-ended RPGs like this, I actually did really well, I think. Once it started to click, I came up with my own build, pivoting when I needed to, and prevailed over most every boss. And, well, much like Nioh 2, another game that I love, the bosses are fantastic, and there's a ton of depth to engaging each boss with each playstyle. The action side of the game tests everything, positioning, timing, judgment, and I found a valid use for every move I was given. But, there are a few caveats... First of all, most guides I've found online will point you towards avoiding playing the game-- Use Extra Mode, or any number of invincibility or infinite MP builds. This isn't necessarily a BAD thing, I think it's great that this game has exploits. But, it could give you the wrong impression if you play the game and follow a guide. You can certainly find your way without one, and I was able to cover my weaknesses every time. And... The other Caveat is, if you don't like postgame content, you should avoid the DLC. The DLC extends the postgame, and that's its primary purpose. There are some lovely references to other popular FF games, but the main story's ending is conclusive enough. You don't really need the DLC, if you're just here for the story. So basically: - I think this game's gameplay is astoundingly well designed, with exceptional combat and fairly intuitive RPG elements. - The postgame was great fun. The best decision I made was playing it without using a guide or extra mode to cheese the game. - The story's pretty cool actually (I didn't say this in the review proper, but, it's true) - Ignore the DLC until you get access to the postgame. If you really like the postgame, buy the DLC. It's a whooole lot more of the same! And, I personally loved it.
