14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Honestly, it's more fun than Nioh, but the endgame loot grinding isn't for me
*This review was machine translated from Korean to English. Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Jack won't shut up about Chaos, but the Combat shouts louder 😈 Boss Battles: The Sole Reason to Play The combat is fast, aggressive, and incredibly responsive. I played my first run on HARD difficulty, and the boss battles were the true highlight. They demand that you study their patterns. You can't just mindlessly spam the Soul Shield mechanic because of the unblockable grab attacks, which forces you to mix in dodges and positioning. The difficulty is steep, but the sense of accomplishment when you finally overcome the challenge is unmatched. ⚔️ Mob Encounters: The Frustrating Slog However, while the boss fights are excellent, the regular enemy encounters are downright obnoxious for several reasons. First, it feels like almost every trash mob has an unblockable grab attack. These deal massive damage, guaranteeing a wasted potion and completely killing the flow of combat. Second, the game constantly throws gank squads at you. Scenarios that would be considered a trap or punishment in other Soulslikes are just the standard here, so you are constantly getting hit in the back. Worst of all is the ridiculous hyper armor (poise) on regular enemies. Even when using heavy weapons like Greatswords or Axes, I often couldn't stagger them. Watching a caster tank through my heavy hits just to blast a spell in my face was incredibly stressful and made me question the point of weapon variety. 🎬 Story & Presentation: Cringe but Good Finally, there is the story and presentation. Honestly, the direction feels dated and the dialogue often crosses the line into cringey territory. Jack’s endless rambling about "killing Chaos" is almost comical at first. However, if you can look past the rough presentation and stick with it, you will realize why I’m praising the narrative. The story is actually surprisingly decent and holds much more weight than the initial impressions suggest. Just bear with the "Chaos" memes and keep playing; by the end, you will understand why this story is worth your time. ⚖️The Verdict I strongly recommend waiting for at least a 33% sale. However, be warned: this game is genuinely difficult, especially if you start on Hard difficulty like I did. Do not expect a casual experience. This game offers a dynamic combat experience that demands quick reflexes—dodging, blocking, and Soul Shielding(Parrying) in a split second. While the mob encounters are a slog, the boss battles are incredibly energetic. They put you in "the zone", making your palms sweat and your body react instinctively. You might laugh at the cringe Chaos lines, and honestly, that’s fine. But as you play, you will find a story that carries a surprising amount of weight compared to its silly start. In a nutshell: ☑️ CHAOS ☑️ CHAOS ☑️ CHAOS ☑️ CHAOS ⬜ Light?

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I am not a Final Fantasy gamer...I had tried one previously and meh... ...but this version is pretty good. I remember playing the original final fantasy, way back in the day. This has kind of a strange feel like that, though I can't remember much of it this many years later. I definitely recommend it, if you want something where you don't have to think too much...gameplay is fun
I had a blast playing the base game! Took me roughly 29 hours to beat the base game. This is like the Nioh series but much more friendly in terms of combat encounters, and combat itself is much more user friendly but has a great amount of depth. All the weapons were really fun to play with. After the base game, there are DLC post-game story but these are gatekept behind a lot of grinding, which felt tiresome, but is required if you want the "complete" story. This is also where the endgame is, with so many new features opening up and hours upon hours of content if you so choose to continue. Lots of grinding and buildcrafting is possible. The story itself is quite good but its pacing is very off and feels disjointed, but it all comes together at the end. I hope we get another similar game like this as I enjoy this difficulty and user friendliness to the Nioh series which requires more skill.
honestly not sure what the story is about, i was and still am kinda confused. but i did have fun playing this game.
is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Great game and it runs way better on my laptop than my ps4. At first I crashed in a menu while playing, but after turning off all the graphics settings in the second tab it made it look better to me and never crashed one time again. Played 30 hours crash free with no mods or third party stuff that everyone else uses, and it was to me at least flawless compared to ps4. I did not even have any slow downs at all playing. The only thing that was worse or more noticeable was the brightness issues. Always too bright or too dark even with hdr not enabled in some maps. Wish they would work on that.
Fun game for co-op, but singleplayer can be pretty brutal. Really hard to get into at first because you don't really have a proper build until you get to the DLC due to constant replacement of gear and inability to hit breakpoints, but once you can get the ball rolling it becomes pretty fun. Definitely recommend playing this with friends so you have competent allies - the NPCs are worse than useless in solo play.
