Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 8.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game was so promising back during early access like 10 years ago. This feels so horrid it isnt funny

Multiplayer is extremely glitchy, uses 2013 graphics. Very slow game pace

⭐☆☆☆☆ Playing Stranded Deep especially in co-op feels like the game is actively trying to punish the players. There is basically no proper tutorial, so you're thrown onto an island with no idea what you're supposed to do. You get poisoned five minutes into the game, but the antidote requires a crafting level you obviously don't have yet. Good luck figuring that out. The crafting system is unnecessarily confusing, resources are limited at the beginning, and the game explains almost nothing. We spent half our time Googling how to do basic things that should have been explained in the game. Then there's the multiplayer. If both players die, instead of simply respawning or reloading the save, you're thrown back into the lobby. Then, every single time you try to join again, you have to sit there for five minutes waiting for the world to sync. And don't even get me started on trying to interact with objects. You find useful raft parts underwater, but the game barely tells you how to move or use them. The survival concept is genuinely fun, and exploring islands and shipwrecks can be exciting, but the terrible lack of explanation, confusing mechanics, clunky controls, and painfully slow co-op syncing make the experience incredibly frustrating. This game doesn't feel challenging because survival is difficult. It feels challenging because you're constantly fighting the game's terrible design. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not unless you have unlimited patience.
