Crazy to see a platformer in rpgmaker be so fun! Been waiting on this project for years, and the wait was definitely worth it!
Very impressive project for a game built ontop of RPGmaker without any of the RPGmaker, you can expect surprisingly fun movement out of this. I have spent the past hour bouncing around in the same circle over and over This game has been ROBOTNIK-CERITIFED. Have a lovely day

I don't know who this guy is, but he looks like he's made of CHEESE
the greatest indie game of this decade, hands down id highly recommend anyone with any sort of taste for platformers play this game soon! It's worth every single penny!
Real long time coming project from a good friend (and full disclosure, did some playtesting for this and got a place in the end credits, however I did pay for my copy). Enjoyed my time with the game all the same, and will try to keep this review as unbiased as possible. All in all: good callback to the mascot platformer period. Dedication to consistent design allows all the levels to flow together pretty much seamlessly, including callbacks and recurring mechanics. Retro callback art is incredibly charming. Exceedingly good musical selection. Doesn't outstay its welcome or fall into pitfalls of other projects in this vein (i.e. embracing memey or dated humor, ever resorting to edgy jokes). Though the game isn't without some points of criticism. Repositioning the character can be a somewhat difficult task and makes some platforming segments infuriating. In parallel, and for understandable reasons, saving during certain sequences is disabled, which makes for a nasty combination with the aforementioned rigid character repositioning. Another issue I had can be found in regard to direction during levels. No objective arrows and only somewhat specific menu direction led to me getting stuck in some levels and unsure how to progress, especially during a late game segment involving an airship crash. Good level design means in most cases it's easy to figure this out yourself, but those areas where direction is lacking made for a rough time. Loved my time with this game despite those flaws in direction: it's bouncy, it's charming, it's fun. Extremely easy to recommend.
Usually not interested in platformers but this stood out to me. It's got a cool and consistent art style, varied environments and many areas in the game have swanky background music that elevates the overall vibe. The movement might take some getting used to but it's clean for an rpgmaker game. You're not always navigating on foot. There's stuff like boats and go-karts and you can play as different characters. There's collectibles around the map that you can use to unlock some fun little bonus levels in case you get bored of the main quest. Good stuff overall and impressive considering the engine it's using.
A unique platformer which was somehow made with RPGMaker. With that in mind there is a bit of jank but it was never so awful that I didn't want to continue playing. The gameplay was fun and the world felt unique. Recommend trying this one.
Father of Lies ♥♥♥ in Disguise
A developer who attempts to make a fun platformer in RPGMaker may be considered insane. A developer who actually pulls it off must be considered a genius. Stoney's Adventure is a charming puzzle platformer adventure that deserves a place in the RPGMaker hall of fame. As the game unfolds from a simple and humble beginning, new mechanics and power-ups are introduced regularly that keep the gameplay feeling fresh and engaging from beginning to end. The developer clearly put a great deal of care into this game and this is made clear by an abundance of details, secrets and unlockables. For the price of entry, Stoney's Adventure is impossible not to recommend. Play it, tell your friends about it and get this game the recognition it deserves. Pros

Excellent level design with lots of variety to keep things interesting, lots of surprises!
Huge interconnected world with exploration that feels fun and rewarding
Cute and colourful graphics, top notch animation
Memorable soundtrack that takes you right back to the 90s
Many hours of gameplay, great bang for buck
Cons

Tile based platforming takes a little getting used to
Additional characters are great fun but are lacking in screen-time
