About
Stoneguard is an immersive strategy game set in a grim medieval apocalypse, where you must defend the magical Lifestone.

Protect the Lifestone
You start with nothing but the will to survive in an apocalyptic world. You protect humanity's only source of magic, the lifestone, from falling into the wrong hands. To defend the last glimpse of hope: Craft walls, build towers and fortify.

Experience Traumatic Injuries & Gruesome Encounters
Accurate weapon tracing detects which body part has been hit. You must be tactful in combat to protect your vital limbs and choose which parts of your enemies to sever. Every lost limb carries severe consequences, hindering your performance in both battle and daily survival. But as long as the Lifestone is protected, there are ways to heal your battle wounds.

Craft with the Remains of Monsters
Strategize your defenses before nightfall, then command and fight alongside your survivors in battle. Issue orders amid the chaos as you face five distinct boss encounters, each summoning new hordes of enemies. Craft and research powerful weapons forged from the limbs of your fallen enemies.

Basebuilding and Resource Management
Hunt and gather resources from the world around you, recruit survivors to join your settlement, and work together to gather, craft, and build. Expand your community with housing, farms, workshops, and more as you create a thriving community amid the apocalypse.

A Unique and Immersive Strategy Game
Experience a strategy game from a third person point of view, with a dynamic day and night cycle which aligns with the three phases of gameplay; day time, preparation phase, and night time.

Great start for the game. There are only 13 day/night cycles at the moment, but there's so much to try out that it easily has a high replay value (until endless mode comes out and you can just carry on!) Solid variety of enemies and weapons, and the base building and follower commands are really effective tools to take you through the current bosses. The developers have posted a roadmap to lead them to the full release which looks quite promising, so at this price with the coming updates, it's a really easy buy
Great concept! It is very early access so can't expect it to be too polished but there is definite potential here. finished the game to where it is now in a handful of hours but looking forward to what else may be added in the future!

Fun game, Made by two people but for what it offers currently you can see the direction and idea of the game. It is EA so theirs bugs and such. Its quite a fun game though! Worth the few bucks they offer it for.
Although the game is early access, I found the gameplay loop very enjoyable and even addicting. I had the chance to try a demo which was fun and this early access version has since improved a lot! If you enjoy base-building and resource-managing games then I think this is definitively worth giving a try. Basically, during the day you have time to work on your town, gather resources, etc. Then at night you need to defend your town from some very unique looking monsters and bosses. I like that you can assign jobs to villagers and also command them in formations during combat. The game has good pacing and progression, it and it quickly teaches you the different controls and mechanics. Makes you want to continue playing. Really looking forward to seeing new content!
Age of Empires meets Killing Floor in this new indie game. I love the unique concept of researching alien body parts to make weapons and haven't ever seen a game fit prosthetic limbs before, which are both very cool. It's still in early access, so there are a few bugs, but any ones I've reported have been patched within 24h, so clearly the devs care and are listening to the reviews. I'm enjoying the balance of hiring survivors vs. needing to feed them (which actually does feel like a resource constraint) and I think this will shine most when playing multiplayer. Well worth £5, with lots of unique content & I'm looking forward to the full product
I liked the combat and the amount of choices I had in the day time part, felt like I always needed to do something before the next wave There could be some performance optimising but it looks like the devs are listening to feedback and for a £5 game I had a lot of fun and will be coming back to it.
Very Fun, great game!
