About
Stoneguard is an immersive strategy game set in a grim medieval apocalypse, where you must defend the magical Lifestone.

Protect the Lifestone
You start with nothing but the will to survive in an apocalyptic world. You protect humanity's only source of magic, the lifestone, from falling into the wrong hands. To defend the last glimpse of hope: Craft walls, build towers and fortify.

Experience Traumatic Injuries & Gruesome Encounters
Accurate weapon tracing detects which body part has been hit. You must be tactful in combat to protect your vital limbs and choose which parts of your enemies to sever. Every lost limb carries severe consequences, hindering your performance in both battle and daily survival. But as long as the Lifestone is protected, there are ways to heal your battle wounds.

Craft with the Remains of Monsters
Strategize your defenses before nightfall, then command and fight alongside your survivors in battle. Issue orders amid the chaos as you face five distinct boss encounters, each summoning new hordes of enemies. Craft and research powerful weapons forged from the limbs of your fallen enemies.

Basebuilding and Resource Management
Hunt and gather resources from the world around you, recruit survivors to join your settlement, and work together to gather, craft, and build. Expand your community with housing, farms, workshops, and more as you create a thriving community amid the apocalypse.

A Unique and Immersive Strategy Game
Experience a strategy game from a third person point of view, with a dynamic day and night cycle which aligns with the three phases of gameplay; day time, preparation phase, and night time.

It's just not there yet. Even for early access. Dev's should have waited another 6 months to a year and done more work on what they've released so far as opposed to what's been released. Boss fights need a whole lot of work, testing, etc. Conceptually it's just not there. Wish this indie crew the best, but they need to sort out what they've got in place. - Bosses need work. - Pacing needs work (how fast you can build, how fast you have to build, etc). Right now it's just "recruit recruit" and support who you recruit. - Some effort put into the ramp up of players learning the game built into the game play experience. It's not a lot to learn but you're under a real time crunch if you don't figure out that simply recruiting villagers all the time, every time you can, is the way to go. - Building mechanics need work, there's no need for anything other houses, crafting buildings, and storage areas (windmill, lumbermill, stone whatever that storage area is), and the healing place. Farms don't work. Defenses don't seem to really do anything. You don't even get time to really build a walled settlement/town before you finish the game and are kicked out of the game. It's... just not there.

Early access game released a month ago - and they already announce another one, at the same time developers state that they are "a small company of two", thus: 1. Yes a small company of 2 scammers. 2. Game will never leave early access and will be abandoned in a few months (if not abandoned already). 3. When they release next barely working EAC scam and start selling it for $5 - they will immediately abandon it, announce another and the circle repeats - common practice. 4. Also when I try to re-bind the hotkey - its says "conflict" and does nothing, making me to first find where this button is assigned and chose something else - this is not right UX
Game is absolutely horrible. Nothing actually works on top of being jenky as ♥♥♥♥. You cant harvest stone most of the time and you never know what way the enemy is coming from on top of the building its trash and the NPC dont do anything you ask. Game is one giant bug!!!!
I am not typically someone who writes a lot of reviews. But, seeing as this game was made with just two developers, I had to come tip my hat to them for such a good game so far. Obviously it is early access so it still has a long ways to go but for the most part it just needs polished and a few things touched up along the edges. Very nice. I hope with the money you get from this game you can put back into it's development and continue upon your work. Overall, especially for the price. Very good game.
Very small game but it provides a unique experience and it has a price that is appropriate for the small amount of content. There are definitely some bugs and lack of polish. But where else will you get to fight zombie aliens with plate mail and a warhammer?
Its a $5 EA games, there are bugs, there is jank, but its a neat concept and what it does have is really fun.
No compren esto, las fisicas estan rotas, la IA de los ayudantes no funciona. Los mandas a hacer algo y se la pasan agachados, bugueados en diferentes zonas, se arrastran no te ayudan.
I had a lot of fun playing this game and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves strategy, crafting and BIG boss fights! I loved the ability to farm, craft and upgrade my gear. The concept of strategy adds a new dimension to the game. I definitely want to play this multiplayer and congratulations to the tiny team, seemingly made up of mainly cats!) who made it. Cant wait to see what comes next!
Great fun, you get sucked in and its addictive!
