The game is already a great survivors title. By far the best coop one to date. It has tons of potential
Müll Effekte sind viel zu überladen man kann nichts erkennen also für maximal 3€ kann man das mitnehmen aber alles andere ist zu viel.
Needs more content tho
Very fun roguelike with lots of options for buildcrafting which i like :D
I have hundreds of hours in the first Stolen Realm game, and many in this one as well. (In fairness, I have definitely left this up overnight or while at work, but I've got some time in it). Highest floor I've reached solo was 131. My thoughts are thus: * I was in the first wave of playtesting. There was no path choice in place, no quests to speak of, wild balance issues, persistent crashes. * Since then, they have improved every aspect of the game. * They did release the game for the public without a significant jump in feature or balance. * Yesterday, they released a very strong balance patch that introduced new weapons, nerfed significant power outliers (Unstable+Flesh and Bone summons, Blood Thirsting Blade, Tempest Scroll), and appear to have opened the door for significantly more build variety and precision. * I can see a lot of room for growth and more roguelike sauce, but we seem to be headed there. * I do hope that at least small balance changes persist every 2-3 months at least for a significant length of time. With a leaderboard and a solvable game, a lot of the pull to achieve will fade if there aren't shakeups in build strength. Burst2Flame has a record for me of putting good thought into their games and encouraging build variety and multiplayer fun. I believe in their ability to take this game there.
I have a love/hate with this game. Back on release it seemed really awful because so much was unbalanced and not working. They're really pulling it together though, and they've got me playing again and looking forward to each update. Lots of fun and build diversity at the moment, and you can check the daily leaderboard to see what other people are doing. Every run is different. Multiplayer is great. There can be a lot of lag if you build like a madman though, that I think is the most glaring issue with the game.
The game is similar to the demo, but there are additions and changes that separate the two. You now have a Slay the Spire choice set and can unlock a variety of weapons that weren't in previously, just by playing the game without a goal in mind. There Were new levels added prior to the Act 4 update and now, more with that update. At this time, it's a pretty basic, co-op compatible, experience in regards to this genre. No super flashy combos, just stats atop of stats. Play if you want to get/feel Stronk and destroy the world~ I haven't put much time in outside of the demo, but I have Already seen more than the demo had to offer. Stop claiming differently with false reviews. A demo is a version, or part of, the game the Devs thought their game would be. Add in some changes, more content and completion of said game. Just because the Demo is similar, doesn't mean it is THE FULL GAME as all the negative reviews state. (In the negative reviews defense, however, is that they claimed too much in their trailer. They should've also released as "Early Access," as their goal is to slowly release the rest of the game that was shown in the trailer.)
played a few sessions with friends and it has been fun. build paths feel unique and fun to experiment with. it seems that the developers listened to the initial launch feedback and have implented positive changes in response.
got it in beta, bean playing it ever since. lack of an obvious meta progression can feel a bit weird but collecting equipment is pretty fun. very rarely die in a way that feels unfair. when my run ends it hard not to just start another immediately.
It was pretty interesting.
