Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 12.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

best horror and brings tears to your eyes
Excellent jeu, excellente histoire, excellents visuels. excellente trame sonore. Tout ce que vous souhaitez d'un jeu vidéo d'horreur étrange, artistique et mémorable. J'y rejoue souvent pour me replonger dans l'atmosphère si bien établie. 10/10.

Absolute masterpiece
Frustrating controls at times, but a very good game overall.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

TLDR
This game is completely linear, and nothing you do will change the outcome. You literally lose nothing from just watching a playthrough online, as everything they see is everything you will see. Everything they do, you will do. The ending is also anticlimactic and dissapointing, so the game is a walking simulator that wastes your time onto the review... Three hours for this? It's alright. I won't spoil the story, but it's anticlimactic and dissapointing. The movement controls are clunky, and the camera clips through yourself if you lean and move your camera. Also, with the game being so completely linear, there didn't feel like much a need to even use the lean. Also a lot of unnecesary interactable... interaction? Pulling a lever, but you have to hold down left click AND press D. Like it's an okay gimmick, but it gets exhausting after the 300th valve you've turned. Another thing I want to mention is how hand-holdy gaming journalist this game is. There's an option to have yellow paint everywhere, or have yellow paint pretty much everywhere. LET ME EXPLORE AND PLAY THE GAME PLEASE. The game literally has yellow paint on EVERY SINGLE INTERACTABLE SURFACE, so you will always know where to go. Mindlessly. I'm ok with linear games, like SOMA. I love SOMA, because it doesn't hold your hand through absolutely EVERYTHING, and the story actually makes you think and isn't just mid. Going into the story
it's incredibly dissapointing and doesn't even really matter in the end. Essentially you're a guy named Caz who goes to an offshore oil rig. You leave behind your wife, Suze, and your two daughters. Throughout some confusing flashbacks, it's revealed that you had gotten into a fight with someone and you needed to lay low. A friend of yours, Roy, suggested the rig job. Suze doesn't want Caz to leave her or the girls. Pretty basic stuff. The game just follows Caz after the rig drills into a... I geniunely have no idea. i think it's intentionally ambigious. It's a somewhat organic creature that has something to do with oil, and it brutally kills people or transforms them. That's pretty much it. The whole story has you do numerous fetch quests that have yellow paint everywhere until eventually you get to the end. A lot of the characters you're supposed to like but only had three seconds of screen time beforehand die and become monsters. Then there's some weird selfless sacrifice scene in the end with another character who you don't really know that well and another character who you've seen the most of. Then the character you've seen the most of just decides to get nihilistic and then she tries to run into the Oil Derrick and light the fumes of oil and gas to blow up the rig. Then they die, and you have to. And that's it. You don't even really know if you killed the thing. You never leave. You never get a good ending. You never get back to your wife and kids who miss you dearly. All because "Hey this thing can't spread we gotta blow up a whole oil rig that's gonna put the organic matter back into the ocean and spread anyway". It's silly and dissapointing. As another reviewer put it, a nothingburger.
I would say the only saving qualities of this game are the characters and the personalities, the graphics, sound design, and the somewhat eerie atmosphere. I play lots of horror games and this one didn't scare me one bit, but it might you. Only get this game if it's on sale and you have money to burn. Otherwise, just watch a playthrough.

Recomendo dms
