STILL WAKES THE DEEP is a return to the first-person narrative horror genre for The Chinese Room, creator of critically acclaimed games such as Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, and Dear Esther.
You are an offshore oil rig worker, fighting for his life through a vicious storm, perilous surroundings, and the dark, freezing North Sea waters. All lines of communication have been severed. All exits are gone. All that remains is to face the unknowable horror that’s come aboard.
Search for your crew and help them survive if you can. Run, climb, and swim through the flooding corridors and storm-lashed outer decks. Face a terrifying, unrelenting foe. And pray that, one day, you get to see your family again.

The sea god try's to drive me mad every time I'm near an OSHA violation so I decided to kill my boss.
great atmosphere
very good
How is this game not more well-known? I think it plays in the same league as Alien Isolation. Amazing tense horror that doesn't abuse of jumpscares but raher builds up tension. Incredible art direction that remind on cultural pieces like
The Thing or Annihilation
and very well written story with beliveable characters. A must for every horror fan.

This game is pretty fun but I cannot recommend it in its current state. I am playing on a maxed out PC yet once i got to the mission to go to the helicopter I could not hold 20fps and I see lots of others have this issue. PLEASE fix so myself and hundreds of others can enjoy this game
:(
Compact, quick, and incredibly good. The accessibility options were a huge draw, and I adored the voice acting, which really helped carry the emotions in such a short game. Excited to play the DLC.
