The amount of settings is abit overwhelming especially if your new to aim training. The "converters" for the games they support are close but not exact will have to adjust some. On that note, it is neat that you can run this game side by side with another game and control both with one controller to dial in your settings for games they don't support. Plus if they don't have the curve you need you can make your own curve. Pro's Very adjustable 1st, 3rd, and a "Focus" all with adjustable FOV's and there own settings and curves Can use the PC version to make a profile then upload it to the workshop and pull that profile to the PS5 Con's Not newbie Friendly Sort of have to figure out your own weakness doesn't Hold your hand and recommend any changes As one of the developers of the game this is my own unbiased review.
It's about time there was an aim trainer specifically for controllers! The current state of the game is a little rough, but I certainly recommend Sticks over other aim trainers I've used with a controller, such as Aimlabs and Aimbeast. As it is now, sticks is a good start. Plenty of familiar drills, plenty of settings to tweak, and it plays well. It could benefit from more gamification, such as ladders, ranks, challenges, daily/weekly targets, that kind of thing. The UI could do with a revision as it feels a bit 'beta' and the flow could be improved. The biggest negative to me is that settings aren't perfectly consistent between games. It does match FoV and some other visual settings, but I'd like to be able to set Sticks to Call of Duty and then have it's settings perfectly match what I see in CoD, including the aim assist, response curve, and sensitivity numbers. Right now it takes some tweaking to achieve good or perfect consistency between the two games.
its good, should add a conversion game profile for "The Finals" i use the "boost" option in the finals so i couldnt just match it with another game profile besides fortnite. i was able to replicate it decently close. but it would be nice if you added a game sense profile for the finals. idk if this game still gets updates but if anyone sees this then sure do add it.
.
I seem to have already accumulated over 2 hours and can see myself putting hundreds or even thousands of hours into this game. It is an EXCELLENT trainer for controller players with the ability to customize nearly everything about your practice routine is impressive. The price is perfect for what it is. It is deceptively small and simple, but it shines in the controller support and customization options. I believe this is one of THE controller aim training programs a PC controller player needs to improve their ability.
