Stella of The End

(8.7🌟) This game is honestly a great ride. It’s a kinetic visual novel, meaning the story is completely linear with no choices to make. It only takes about 8–10 hours to finish, so it doesn't drag at all. The plot follows Jude, a cynical courier in a post-apocalyptic world, who gets hired to deliver a "package"—which turns out to be a highly advanced but totally naive android named Philia. Their dynamic gives off major Tlou vibes, growing from a strictly business relationship into a really deep bond. This VN has amazing voice acting, Philia’s voice actor does an incredible job showing her shift from a stiff robot to a warm, human-like character. and unlike other VN that are mostly just talking, this one actually has high-stakes action scenes that keep you hooked. This one also has beautiful Visual and Amazing Soundtrack. But tbh this game is too short, the lore behind the post apocalyptic world feels a bit rushed and underdeveloped. Also few side characters pop up with tons of potential, but their storylines get cut short without a satisfying conclusion. And lastly this game has no replay value, cuz once you roll the credits, there is zero reason to play it again. (this is kinetic VN after all) Definitely worth a shot if you love emotional sci-fi stories and just want to enjoy a good narrative without stressing over dialogue options. (I hope this VN get an Anime adaptation)

剧情上我觉得挺不错的，就是有点赶，菲莉娅的成长，裘德性格的转变，一个父亲一个女儿，真的挺棒了[spoiler]裘德拔枪射向老头真是太帅了[/spoiler] bgm也挺好听的，特别是最后墓碑😭😭 [spoiler] 「我可以告诉别人，我是裘德的女儿吗?」 「喔，当然可以」 「对每个见到的人我都要说哦? 我想自豪一下」 「请务必这么做。你也正是我引以为豪的女儿」 ................................................................................................................................ 将我的女儿.....送向未来。[/spoiler]

Yes, I'd recommend this game. I've been reading this little by little the past two years before bed. Ended up dropping it halfway and rereading after forgetting the story. Fell asleep twice or thrice so the actual playtime is probably just around 10-15 hours. Took me so long to finish the game because the FMC initially really annoyed me, but everything else (story, art, music, atmosphere) is beautiful enough and successful enough in portraying a post-apocalyptic world, for me to keep going.

There is no game-play here except reading next page. The reading experience consists mainly of still backgrounds, music and walls of texts with dialogue read aloud by the actors. The store page has a trailer, which has more animation than the actual novel. The novel tells story of Jude, a wandering Courier who receives a request to deliver some cargo. As this is a book, it's better to read it yourself to see where the story goes. [hr][/hr] [h2]The Tech[/h2] This is a visual novel. It runs on a potato. [hr][/hr] [h2]My opinions[/h2] Well this was a fun read, while not my type of story. It took me roughly 6 hours to read through it, the voice acting was pretty good for the dialogue parts. The music got bit repetitive at parts and wasn't really fitting all the scenes as such, but it worked well enough. Most of my gripes are with the story, I don't really enjoy the "escort this kid from place A to place B" stories, as usually the kid ends up being a complete and utter idiot for most of the story. This was the case in this novel as well and the writers even acknowledge it. It's a very nice read though and while it's not groundbreaking by today's standards, it was written well enough. Pro: - Ottimo ritmo e durata, si finisce con circa 12h di lettura e mantiene sempre l'interesse costante nella lettura, senza parti inutili o riempitive con un ritmo incalzante. - Personaggi ben fatti e ottimi, Jude e Filia sono degli ottimi protagonisti, altrettanto ben fatto il personaggio del Duca. L'evoluzione del loro rapporto dei due protagonisti durante la storia è ottima. - Buone musiche e CG, lato artistico e ambientazioni piacevole e ben fatte. - Eccellente doppiaggio, i doppiatori di Jude e Filia hanno fatto un'eccellente performance, ottima anche quella del Duca. Contro: Nulla in particolare da segnalare. Nel complesso, Tsui no Stella è un'ottima visual novel che consiglio molto, non inventa la ruota, ma racconta in maniera ottima una bella e coinvolgente storia. Se vi piace il genere sci-fi e apocalittico, l'acquisto è un colpo sicuro. N.B. il counter delle ore è po' più alto rispetto alla vera durata perché ho giocato circa il 40-50% del gioco con il testo in giapponese dove la mia velocità di lettura è inferiore rispetto a quella inglese.
