阿石头门!
A wonderfully crafted visual novel that perfectly captures the emotions, ethical dilemmas, and philosophical questions surrounding time travel. It tells an incredible science fiction story that leaves a lasting impression, especially through its alternative endings and unforgettable cast of characters. As the story unfolds, you grow deeply attached to each character and gradually learn more about their personalities, motivations, and struggles. The voice acting is outstanding across the board, and the soundtrack is exceptional, featuring memorable tracks that will stay in your head long after you've finished the game. I know this may sound hyperbolic, but I genuinely consider it a modern classic in terms of storytelling. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys visual novels or compelling science fiction, especially stories centered around time travel. El Psy Kongroo

I want to start by saying that Steins;Gate is by no means a perfect visual novel. Much like its predecessor (Chaos;Head), it has a lot of flaws. For one, many of the plot points that happen after chapter 5 seem to just happen through convenience. It felt unrewarding and at times undeserved. The game takes a lot of time to explain the concepts of time travelling, but it sometimes forgets or flat out ignores what it teaches you. Without spoiling anything, the story contains many plot holes that, at times, left me questioning why things were able to work out the way they did. The true ending in particular felt like a huge cop out. Since this is a time travelling story though, I understand that it’s very difficult to write without at least one or two plot holes. I mentioned Chaos;Head before; I think that the overall mystery built in SG is a little weaker than the one found in CH. CH (Noah specifically) sprinkles in very important narrative details into each of its endings that plays into the greater mystery of the world and the Committee of 300. SG just…doesn’t really do that. Because of that, I enjoyed the story of CH more than I did SG. That being said though, SG was still a great experience. I enjoyed each of the characters and their relationships. I know I just griped about SG's story, but I still had fun with it. Seeing the different world lines, learning about time travel theories, and watching the consequences of Okabe’s actions was very entertaining. I thought the humor was funny and the phone mechanic (while underutilized) was fun to mess around with. Okabe is a great protagonist and I loved following his journey. His relationship with Kurisu is one of the better developed relationships I've seen in visual novels. Overall, I’d still recommend SG. It’s a relatively short read for a visual novel and I think it still holds up as a pretty good time travelling story and visual novel. P.S. I love Moeka (´∀`)
