Steep™

Still the best ski/snowboard game ten years later. Not “one of the best.” Not “good for its age.” The best. And before anyone shows up talking about “realistic sims,” let me stop you: Steep isn’t a sim. Steep is what happens when an arcade game, a travel documentary, and a mid‑life crisis decide to go heli‑skiing together. But here’s the real kicker: Steep is so good it made me angry. Angry that Ubisoft looked at this absolute gem and said, “Yeah, one is enough.” No. No it is not enough. I need Steep 2. I need Steeper. I need Steep: Electric Boogaloo . I need ANYTHING. (And don’t you dare whisper “Riders Republic” at me. I will wingsuit‑tackle you off Mont Blanc.) So please, buy this game. Not just because it’s fun, not just because it’s gorgeous, but because if enough of us play this game - maybe, just maybe - Ubisoft will remember they own this IP and panic‑greenlight a sequel. 10/10. Still the king of the mountain.

У меня была подруга - Стейси. Мы с ней катались по Альпам, но...к сожалению она погибла. Как говорится "Уважай горы и они будут уважать тебя в ответ", она этого не знала и поплатилась, свернув себе шею об ближайший от нас домик, когда в очередной раз высрала слово "скейтборд" когда мы на "сноуборде". Благодарю горы за свою проделанную работу.

这游戏最大的败笔就是一款几乎纯粹单机内容的游戏需要连接服务器来游玩，我实在是想不通有什么联网的必要，方便你再像当初飙酷车神一样把服务器关掉好让玩家失去进入游戏的权限吗？还是方便你用土豆一样的烂服务器摧毁玩家的游戏体验，我不是不能接受在线内容，但你一款几乎全是单机内容的游戏能不能把联网改成匹配多人时才要求呢，网络问题已经多次导致我无法正常游戏了 而且这游戏还有很多莫名其妙的bug，新手教学关就给你连续整两个大的直接给你卡关两次，一般人早就退款跑路了，还好我是先在自由模式玩爽了再去玩的教学，卡关了的时候就不想玩了，也算值回票价

Can't go offline. Random events and NPC's annoy you. A big, white, ugly line shows you the path. I want to play freely. Controls are unresponsive. Moves, tricks are all predefined. One of the worst disappointments I've ever had. Also, WHAT THE HECK? WHY DID THIS GAME INSTALL UBISOFT CRAP IN MY COMPUTER WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME? I closed the game and tried to uninstall it, it said "ubisoft connect is running". It started to run in the background even though it didn't ask a thing to me.

Really good relaxing gameplay. Great for when you're tired or don't know what else to play. Just pop on some tunes and send it.

What makes Steep so enjoyable is how natural and fluid everything feels. Whether you’re casually cruising down a mountain or attempting tricks and challenges, the controls are responsive and satisfying. It strikes a great balance between being accessible and still rewarding skill and creativity. The open-world design really adds to the experience. You’re not locked into rigid gameplay—you can explore, experiment, and just ride however you want. Sometimes the best moments come from simply picking a direction and seeing where the mountain takes you. It’s also a great game to relax with. There’s something incredibly calming about gliding through snowy landscapes, especially when you’re not focused on competition but just enjoying the ride. Overall, Steep delivers a fun, freeing snowboarding experience that’s easy to pick up and hard to put down.

I love this game. I can absolutely see Ubisoft team having a blast making this game. One of the best Ubisoft games. They put their heart into this game. I remember as a small kid in 2018 raging at the Winterfest and Extreme DLC challenges. Now I completed them easily. Currently trying to 100% it. 10/10, must play.
