From 18 tonners to the Gigaliner, ON THE ROAD – The Truck Simulator offers everything a trucker’s heart desires.
In this realistic truck simulation, you have more than 6500 km of motorway and country roads at your disposal – including numerous detailed motorway interchanges. Get behind the steering wheel of a MAN TGX or Scania R Series and discover more than 15 German cities like Hamburg, Bremen, Cologne, Hannover, and Berlin, with unique road designs and sights. Additionally, numerous other points of interest are waiting to be discovered along your journey, as well.
The MAN and Scania trucks behave very realistically – including automatic transmissions, retarder/intarder, and assistance systems. From compact box bodies to semi-trailers and even gigaliners, you’ll have the right cargo volume available for every delivery order. Thanks to the Steam Workshop support, you can paint every vehicle and trailer as you desire.
On The Road also features an economic system. Found your own company and hire drivers so you can accept more orders. Plan your routes as efficiently as possible, but keep an eye on the mandatory rest times as well.

Es ist mir wirklich unangenehm, aber das Game ist durch und durch schlecht. Grafik nach dem Grafik Update ist ne Katastrophe. Beim einstellen der Steuerung verliert man schon die Lust am Spiel (Fanatech Wheel) Spielmechanik und Karriere verlauf ist Mist Nach 13h immer und immer wieder der Versuch es Anzutesten für mich der Stand aber Stand ende 2025 unspielbar Entwickler Team Sorry aber stellt die Arbeit ein und fahrt ETS
Wenn ich mir die Kommentare durchlese, dann weiß ich dass es sich nach wie vor nicht lohnt es noch einmal zu installieren um zu schauen ob es wesentliche Fortschritte gibt. Der oder die Programmierer haben offensichtlich keine Ahnung was an so einem Spiel WIRKLICH WICHTIG ist. Um es euch zu sagen: es ist das FAHRGEFÜHL. Wenn das Lenken zum Alptraum wird und man auf der Autobahn bei der kleinsten Lenkbewegung gefühlt gleich abbiegt, dann ist das halt *miiiiep zensiert*. Wenn eine Steuerung und Tastaturbelegung sich nicht erklärt genauso. Wenn ich den Sitz (Kameraposition) nicht ändern kann, dann ist das auch Murks. Vielleicht sollte das Team mal einen kleinen verschlafenen Blick auf ETS2/ATS werfen um zu sehen was es schon gibt und was möglich ist. Und ja, ETS2 und ATS haben auch noch viel Luft nach oben. Aber das hier ist im Vergleich zu ETS2/ATS wirklich NICHTS. Ich glaub nicht dass ich dieses Spiel jemals nochmal installieren werde. Ein DLC kaufen erst recht nicht. Da ist mir ETS2 tausend mal lieber.

Eigentlich ein solides Spiel, wenn die Landschaften nur nicht so ELENDIG Langweilig wären!! Es sieht ALLES gleich aus! Das einzige was wirklich ganz nett ist, sind die größeren Städte im Vergleich zum ETS. Aber das wars eigentlich schon. Also das Spiel muss man definitv nicht haben. Im Prinzip ist alles schlechter als im ETS inklusive Grafik. Wenn das Teil 5 Euro kosten würde, ok. Aber so... spart euch das Geld besser für ein ETS2 Addon.
Ich bereu jeden Euro, Grafik unter aller Sau und voller Bugs! Würde eher den ETS empfehlen

Auch nach dem Update schaut es aus wie lieblos zusammengekleistert mit ein paar Landmarks.
Viel Potenzial, aber schlecht umgesetzt, hätte man sich bei den Lkw Modellen und allgemein bei der Steuerung lieber ein Beispiel an SCS genommen, LKW Freunden empfehle ich bei ETS2 oder ATS zu bleiben.
