Steel Storm: Burning Retribution

[h1] Top down shooter with main focus put on lots of explosions. Everything explodes including your pants. You must find a way to open force field in order to complete the level. Controls are basic with a few weapons that you can equip. Shooting is ok for the most part and you get more points for consecutive kills. For controller support check gamepad in the options. Different enemies like sentry guns, tanks, mechs and some boss waiting on each stage. Music is good with a bit of oomph and you gonna hear explosions most of the time. Visuals are not the worst, game have some details but nothing too fancy. Overall nothing amazing but plays ok. [/h1]

Очень середнячковая "два грибка-стрелялка" про судно на воздушной подушке, сражающееся в неизвестной войне титров. Робо-врагов легко подстреливать издалека, пока они ещё полностью не показались на экране. При гибели же предстоит долго возвращаться от начала уровня до точки последней разделки. Не осилил. 6/10?

The game is not BAD per se, but it is kind of generic and repetitive and the story is not really interesting so I got bored after a couple hours of play, and abandoned it.

Unlimited mindless fun and enjoyment, awesome. Thanks for the level editor, source code, and modding support.

Good clean Arcade Fun!

Before I played this... I had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.

Oldie but goodie. Fun top-down/isometric, hovertank shooter with a fair variety of weapons, both primary and secondary. Some clever level design here and there buoys an occasionally repetitive (fight your way to the switch, fight your way back to the now-open forcefield) game. Get it if/when its on sale as its a tad overpriced for what it is.
