Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 12 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After buying this game on release date I finally got around to playing it, I know right 😊. From the get go I have to confess that I love Eugen Systems RTS games, in particular the Wargame series and it does influence my view of this game. In isolation, this is a very solid WW2 RTS that tries to add uniqueness through introduction “phases” which dictate what type of units you can call in in which stage of the battle. It is very simple, in phase A you can only call phase A type units, in phase B, you can call phase A & B units, you get the gist. And while this add a new layer of strategy to the game it feels very artificial. Line of sight is very important in this game and does play a major role, so tactical positioning is very important, unfortunately AI pathfinding sometimes ruins your plans (very rarely). Another good component of the campaign is that your casualties matter for each consecutive mission (5 missions in each of the 3 campaigns) so don’t get reckless! Graphically the game looks great even now (in July 2022). However, there is one big issue for me. When I compare this game to other RTS games from this dev this one feels mediocre, it feels like another WW2 RTS, a solid one in its right, but kind off ‘meh’ when you compare it to wargame series and this is a feeling I can’t get rid of. So for those of you who are not Wargame fans, this game will be great, but Wargame fans may give it a miss. Even after all those years this is still the best WW2 RTS you can get. SD2 feels unpolished / lackluster in comparison (especially UI / design) and has questionable DLC moneymaking these days. Other titles like Men of War or Call to Arms lack some of the features that make this title so great (line of sight tool, moving front line mechanic instead of fog of war, huge zoom level, AI path finding).
Poor value for money for SP gamers. Three campaigns with 4 missions each, units do not get experience from previous missions. Some mission timers are too tight, forcing you to just rush the enemy and hope for the best.
the amazing thing is you can pause and make order and then stop pause
better than sd2
2차대전 워게임이라니? 너무 재밌어 보였습니다. 그래서 질렀죠? 사람이 없더라구요 알고보니 최신작이 아니었어요
iyi güzelde dx11 de çöküyor ona göre alın
when you put the AI on hard mode, this thing just gets boni, but isnt more strategic. and thats not fun
Effectively a Wargame series clone for the WW2 era. Something about this style of RTS just doesn't seem to sit right for me. I don't enjoy the card loadout system at all and the AI often know where to sit perfectly so that they can peak or out-range your units.
Probably the best introduction to Eugen games. Unlike with Wargame: Red Dragon, which was simply too much for me as a complete beginer, you have good tutorial and everything is simpler thanks to less units types, stats and overall pace is slower. Compared to Steel Division 2, it is more visually appealing to me and linear campaign isn't intimidating like those strategic maps in other games. Coming from Company of Heroes originaly, it seems like natural evolution. I no longer have to pull my hair, when unit just refuses to follow my commands to get it out of danger, the zoomout for easy map overview is nice and being able to just slow down time or completely pause and start issuing commands is another addition I would miss in CoH. And yeah those smart commands are probably my favorite feature, where you can choose if unit goes straight to the point, goes fast by using nearby roads or rather tries to find more safe route through covers along the way. I have noticed comments about lack of realism in negative reviews and while that might be true in some cases, there is still solid rock paper scissors system in units composition, which just feels enjoyable to play around for me. Overall if you are looking for singeplayer CoH like experience, this is a solid choice imo.
