Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 12 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sehr geile Kombination aus PanzerGeneral und Sudden Strike...um es mal mit den Worten eines alten Zockers zu sagen. ;) Auf dieses Spiel habe ich lange gewartet...Liebe zum Detail und extrem taktisch. Absolute Empfehlung!
Please fix the grass or give us an option to turn it off like in Normandy 44

I haven't play it much yet, but I like it. Seems like there's lots of content and I suck so the AI is good enough to give me a challenge. I've mainly played skirmishes at this point and there appear to be several options. Gameplay feels like a cross of Total War (with the battlegroup builder) and Supreme Commander with the zoomed out tactical gameplay. I like the phased gameplay and how you call in reinforcements. I'll probably never master it, but it will likely be one of those games I'll load up every now and then for years to scratch that RTS itch that hits me now and then.
I would rank SD2 very highly and one of the best war games I've played. I prefer pulse war games so I'm still getting used to playing with a continuous clock by using the solo modes. I've done most of the campaigns and now I'm focused on building my own divisions and playing scenarios. Will see if I can join a group one of these days. Lots of fun!
While the core gameplay of steel division is solid and enjoyable, the DLC pricing is ridiculous. Essential units and factions are locked behind multiple overpriced expansions, making the base game feel incomplete without them. It’s frustrating to see so much content carved out and sold piecemeal, especially when some DLCs barely justify their price with minimal additions. The game ends up feeling more like a platform for expensive micro-expansions than a full strategy experience. Buyer beware: if you want the "full" game, be prepared to spend way more than the base price.
the game is dead.
i love the game, but for me, not sure if its just me, but when i play a 4v4 skirmish with the computer, my cpu seems to get to 90c and above, so i cant actually play without cooking. any suggestions would be awesome too.
I don't play those kinds of games often but I'm Sudden Strike/Blitzkrieg veteran and I really enjoyed Steel Divison 2. Game offers many interesting maps, a LOT of divisions and unit types (pretty much anything but naval units), plus we can create our own divisions, which allows us to tweak it to our needs. Playing versus AI alone isn't as entertaining but coop feels great, for some people wanting more strategic approach there is a campaign mode, but honestly I didn't like it much. There is also a multiplayer mode, which is still populate (as of 01.2026), haven't played it much though, but considering we can create our own teams, and there is huge units variety I'm afraid it might be corrupted with 'meta' gaming. All in all great tactical/strategic game for any WW2 enthusiasts.
