SteamWorld Dig 2 is a metroidvania that somehow manages to be even better than the first game. The graphics are more polished, and the mechanics feel incredibly smooth. Everything feels much less clunky compared to the first game, which makes exploring and digging around feel even better. There are a lot of upgrades, some of which you won't even get by the end of the game. It's nice to have so much freedom to build your character the way you want. Objectively, some upgrades are definitely better than others, but that doesn't stop you from having fun experimenting with the less impactful ones. The pacing of the game is also done really well. There is always something to do, and the game respects your time. It doesn't constantly try to prolong things just for the sake of making the game longer. There wasn't really a single point where I felt like something was being unnecessarily drawn out or that I was wasting my time. Everything moves along at a good pace without feeling rushed. The difficulty is pretty casual overall. Things can get a bit tricky if you're not upgrading the right things to help you out, but for the most part, the game isn't overly difficult. It strikes a nice balance where you can mostly relax and explore while still having moments where you need to think about what you're doing. The puzzles are also very well made. Later on, they will actually make you think, and you may find yourself getting stuck on some of them. But once you figure them out, it feels incredibly satisfying. Some of them really make you stop and think about how to approach them. The secrets... what can I say? They're littered everywhere, tucked into practically every crevice. This makes hunting for them genuinely interesting, and you actually feel rewarded when you find one. I know for a fact some of you are going to be hitting every single block of wall trying to find them. During the early to mid game, the secrets aren't too difficult to find because they usually have visual indications. But late game? They become near impossible. Seriously, they're disguised extremely well, and you'll probably end up spending a lot of time hunting for them, or just looking them up if you get tired of searching. The characters also feel much more alive in the game world. They have more dialogue and much more personality compared to the first SteamWorld Dig. The dialogue itself doesn't take things too seriously either. It's pretty wacky at times, which gives the game a lot of its charm. And the ending... I honestly didn't expect it. It was great. Overall, I rate this game a 10/10. It's original, incredibly fun to play, and there's honestly nothing quite like it.

３Dゲームやら、長い冒険活劇も良いけどやっぱりゲームってこれだなって思わせる位にゲームらしいゲームだと思う。ただ、コントローラーに対応してないのか(私のゲームパッドが悪かったのかもですが)、やるのであればコントローラーでやった方が絶対に良いと思うので、、、 そんな時はJoy Tokeyがやっぱり一番かなと。。。 ゲームの内容は一作目と同様に掘り進んで宝石や鉱物を集めながら謎を解いていく話。 ただ、全体を見ると多少新しい仕掛けなどはあるものの、一作目の方が内容もゲームの方が 濃かったな？・・・と思う部分も。 一作目をプレイして、もうちょっと穴掘りを続けたいという人にはお勧めですかね。。 でも、内容も目的もシンプルで楽しかったです。(2026年9月の時点で日本語に対応してないと思うのですが、英語分からなくてもある程度感覚で分かるかな？でも、今は翻訳アプリとかあるしね)

steam world dig birinci oyununu oynadım ve ardından bu oyunu oynadım oyun rahatlatıcı madencilik simülatöründen platform oyununa dönmüş oyun birinci oyuna göre çok karmaşık ve aşırı fazla diyalog var oyunda türkçe dil desteği de bulunmadığından oyunu anlamaka çok zorlaşıyor bu oyuna tek bir oyun olarak bakarsak (devam oyunu olarak bakmazsak) fena olmayan bir metroidvania oyunu ama ilk oyundan sonra bu oyun aşırı karmaşık platform oyununa dönmüş.Oyunu kontolcü olmadan oynamak da çok zor kontrollerde ilk oyuna göre acayip farklı ve kötü.Hikayesine gelirsek oyunda iyi olan tek şey diyebilirim.En azından hikayesi için oyunu bitirecektim ama fiyatlar malum. Oyun bana bu haliyle hitap etmiyor ama leş bir oyunda değil.

Честно, уже плохо помню первую часть. Без понятия насколько она была объёмной, но уж вторая часть точно вышла гораздо многограннее, разнообразнее и увлекательнее. Мне на самом деле и первая в своё время безумно понравилась, с которой у меня и началась любовь к подобного рода играм, уж особенно немногочисленным шахтёрским (уж слишком они специфичны, и потому ценны). Но не припомню, чтоб там был настолько грамотный подход к проектированию локаций, геймлейных ситуаций и создания такого множественного инструментария, который перекраивает игру так, что ты испытываешь совершенно иной экспириенс, благодаря чему отодвигаешь окончание игровой сессии на ещё час, потом ещё на два, и в итоге безвылазно сидишь на протяжении пяти, а то и шести-семи часов, и нисколько не замечаешь этого, и ловишь дичайший кайф. Особенно удивили хоть и простенькие, но ни разу не повторившиеся загадки, которые выполнены так хорошо, что заставляют не то что "мозг вскипеть", а скорее именно отдохнуть от хоть и безумно интересной, но всё же игровой рутины. Благодаря, как мне кажется, им я и смог просидеть безвылазно в игре, ведь с нетерпением ожидал и гадал, что же мне подготовят разработчики в очередной пещере, и каждый раз это ожидание оправдывало себя, ведь там не только загадки, но и эдакие мини-игры и ситуативные решения и секреты, ведь не просто копаешь, а именно что вдумчиво и внимательно, чтобы исследовать каждый угол на 100%, ввиду поначалу ограниченного инструментария, оный не позволяет размусоливать пространство, ведь "так можно и до сокровищ не добраться и что-то упустить, не дотянуться, не допрыгнуть" и т.д. Но уже потом, ближе к концу игры весь "страх перфекциониста" теряется, ибо практически всё прокачено и открыто, и есть огромное множество решений для тех или иных ситуаций. В общем, не припомню, когда в последний раз настолько хорошо отдыхал в игре, - обычно так или иначе всё скатывается в душнину и хаос, а тут чистейший расслабон и лёгкая "щекотка ума". Очень приятное воспоминание у меня останется касательно этого временного периода, это уж точно.
