Stay: Your Forever Pet!

Ember is honestly so cute I can't stand it. This game completely scratches that "I want a pet but can't have one right now" itch. Feeding her, playing with her, watching her react to you, it all feels really sweet and cozy. The otherlands adventures are a nice touch too, gives you something to actually do together instead of just petting/sim busywork. Really fun little game, easy to recommend if you want something relaxing with a lot of heart.

I'm loving it! A little virtual pet like Ember is exactly what I need right now and the whole game is full of charm and appeal. Definitely worth checking it out if the premise has you even slightly interested

I'm loving this cozy little pet sim / adventure game 💖 Ember feels alive in a way virtual pets usually don't & petting her never gets old 😊 It's light on the sim side of things but it makes up for it in spades with the world which is not just beautiful but delightful. The fact it grows around you ala Okami is 👏 the 👏 best 👏 The basic loop is solid: hang out with Ember > wander out on expeditions > come back and trade for treats and outfits. There are some nice mini-games "puzzles" and whatnot to mix things up along the way. Feels like the perfect blend of interactivity + openness for a cozy game. Also seems super kid friendly! Only about an hour and change in, but there's clearly a lot more here and I'm excited to jump back in. There are some visual glitches and bugs here and there but nothing bad and I am confident the devs are on it. Their roadmap looks 👌 & they are all over the forums / discord.

I would for sure recommend this. The art is great, you can dree up your pet, and the expeditions are rather easy. The lazy way to describe this game is a pet sim with exploration. Currently early access with lots of bugs and cheese but the devs are working on that. Keep in mind you may not get the purple fur pet since pet color and look are randomized for now, in the future you will be able to change it. The only negative for me so far is that it gets repetitive, do 3 tasks with ember > explore > do 3 more tasks > bed. I will say it is a nice way to kill an hr. No regrets buying.

The game plays as it looks, very comforting. I'm really impressed with the pet controls and how responsive it is. Hasn't made itself stuck, waits in a corner, or just anywhere that is impractical. Really engaging with the activities too. Just some bugs here and there with the map's barriers. Fell off 2 times accidentally trying to chase something, and I noticed it went through a wall. The visuals look really cool to me, and I enjoy the sound design. Whether it's pop-ups of the plants and the music overhaul, it's really satisfying. Another piece of feedback is to add an option to increase the text size in the speech bubble for the tutorial. Just a small thing to make the text easier to read. Great start for early access.

The perfect pick for fans of cozy games. Ember is the cutest companion! I'm enjoying the ambience of Ember's world and seeing what she has to show me while taking in the calm music and atmosphere the game provides. I'm excited to see where our adventures take us!
