Fruitbus made me cry over cooking for strangers. Well, not 100% strangers as you need to invite them to a special event for your Grandma!😭 This game is basically: 🚐 drive around 🍓 pick fruit/veggies 🍲 make salad/soup/sandwich/stir-fry 💖 accidentally achieve inner peace Absolute cozy masterpiece!
I love love love the concept and story. The gameplay is enjoyable. However there's major, game-breaking issues which NEED to be addressed. Given it's an indie game, I understand the struggle and support this game to the fullest, but I cannot recommend it to anyone else. The models seem to lack good geometry, leading to problems with shadows and lights. Spiky, triangulated shadows and random appearing lights. The game lags often, no matter the graphics setting. It's also littered with tiny annoying bugs. From visual ones, such as the wheel of the fruitbus appearing partially stuck in the ground, to objects falling through the map. Please fix the issues everyone is reporting. It's a beautiful game with so much potential, but rendered unplayable (pun intended).
Literally one of my favourite games ever. a few bugs here and there but the story, the gameplay, the atmosphere, everything is perfect. i remember when the demo came out i played for like 8 hours and couldnt stop. even now i dont wanna finish the game and will definitely replay. GO PLAY IT ITS SO FUN
I loved this game! It's a peaceful gameplay loop of driving your little mobile kitchen into town, going for an island jog (or climb) to gather up fruit, ringing the "ice cream truck" bell, and watching the cute animals come running to order their smoothies. The islanders ask you to help with their often food-related problems of course, but none of the quests dragged, and they were all charming little characters. 10/10
When the game works its very fun, but there are so many bugs that i encountered it made the experience annoying a lot of the time. For some of the bugs, i just had to deal with them for the entire game. Plus there's some quality of life stuff (like not being able to refund furniture or throw out dishes) that adds frustration to what's supposed to be cozy. I still enjoyed it overall, but just a tiny bit more polish would make it so much better.
One of my favorite games ever. Start to finish it is engaging and considerate toward the player. Could not recomend a game more than this one.
supa fun and cute!!! i quite enjoyed the organizational and management aspects of this game as well as the more chill driving portions. The world building was also fire. Big ups to my G (Grandma) you will b forever 'membered xoxo
My favorite cozy game ever I play it on steam and my switch (although it is def more optimized on steam then the switch) I enjoy how laid back this game is along with the changes you can make to the bus Its criminal this game is not more popular
I like this game but it's actually quite buggy. The mouse control seems to be bound to frame rate so it's not smooth at all, as you move through areas it'll become all jittery. also there's a bug where fruit can fall through their containers and you have to reinstall the furniture to fix it. If these 2 bugs are fixed I'd happily recommend this game
This game is truly a gem. It has everything I'm a sucker for: exploring, foraging, silly but amazing story, a cozy vibe...and vegan cooking!! <3
