Starters Orders Classic Horse Racing

As someone with horseracing in my blood, I can say this is as real a horseracing management game as I have found.

was great no crashes then after a few seasons just stopped working.just closes itself down. not done it for a while so im ok again now

Unplayable. Crashes and locks up constantly in the punter mode.

It's a great game for horse racing lovers...but the constant crashes make it almost unplayable and having to save the game after every race day is just something you shouldn't have to do.

Fun Horse Game if you can select the RIGHT races for your horses and not put them into races that are way above there potential easiest way i found to make money is start breeding and sell the offspring , then the games just that little bit easier and fun Noseband and blinkers always get me laughing

1156 hours under my belt loved the whole series and still dip in out out regularly. Very niche

Overall a great little sports management sim. The FM of horse racing.

Good horse training simulation if you like stats and strategy. Graphics could be much better and the commentary is awful. However, having said all that it is a good game with a lot of potential.

While I was against the game after buying it I'm running a season by season lets play of it auctioning horses off and not kicking them from the game. The result is this: my harem of breeding mares in season 7 all breed from 'Usain Colt' who kicked one of my star horses butts in season 3 (I think). It was so impressive a kick I made a note on the horse, "I want you!" Nothing else came of it until season 7 when Usain fell from grace and became a stud for 116,000 a pop and he popped all my harem. In season 5 'Azamour' had awesome stats so bred him with the harem then raced him and he sucked. Continues to not just suck but lick the bottom of the barrel for no obvious reason. I sold one of his offspring and raced against it in a later season (and beat it thankfully). So I guess this is a thumbs up for playing it as an rpg? I dunno. As for this or Starter Orders 7, this IS SO7 minus the 3D races and ability to jockey and no subforum on the main website and yea, get SO7 instead.

this game has too many flaws and I tried to get my money back and because I played it too many hours they refused to give me my money back so where do you go from here The game's not working properly but who cares.
