Ich bin ein Harvest Moon Fan seit ich mit sieben mein erstes Spiel für den Nintendo bekommen habe, und seit dem immer auf der Suche nach einem neuen Platz 1. Starsand Island übertrifft zwar nicht Coral Island, ist seinen preis aber definitiv wert - vor allem für so ein neues Spiel. Ich finde es gut, das man die Ställe selbst baut und sich immer erst 'beweisen' muss, bevor man neue Tierarten kaufen kann. Auch die Zucht der Farmtiere finde ich gut, eine positive abwechslung zu anderen Farmspielen. Manko für mich - die männlichen Bachelors sehen alle ein wenig copy and paste mäßig aus und an manchen stellen ist das Design noch ziemlich fad (hauptsächlich an den rändern der Map, abseits der wege)

Honestly, even with the occasional glitches in the build menu and a few small issues, I’m sure the devs will fix things over time 🙌✨ This game is such a perfect mix of farming and adventure 🌾⚔️ It really feels like a blend of Heartopia and Stardew Valley, which is amazing 💚 I’m also really loving the story so far 📖❤️ and how open-world and free everything feels 🌍 You can just explore, learn, and have fun at your own pace, which makes it super relaxing and enjoyable 😌🎮 I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys games like Heartopia, Stardew Valley, or My Time at Portia 👍🔥 Devs, keep up the amazing work! I have greatly enjoyed this game during early access and after full release. Wonderful town to go explore and it is a nice break from the norm as the town is actually alive and well, not some rundown trash you have to save like most other games in the genre. Looking forward to seeing how the game feels in the later years.

Le jeu transcende la simple simulation en proposant un monde pastoral apaisant aux couleurs Ghibli. On prend le temps de cultiver ses terres, de personnaliser sa maison face à l’océan ou de flâner en écoutant la brise marine. C’est un jeu léger qui fait un bien fou à l'esprit. Thumbs down because the game was advertised differently than it actually turned out to be. But! All in all, Starsand Island is a Chinese knockoff of a farming simulator—it does a little bit of everything, but none of it is in-depth or interesting. If that, plus the pretty graphics, is enough for you to enjoy a farming sim, then go for it. Just don’t have high expectations for the features listed on the store page (there isn’t much left anyway). ---- When the game went into Early Access, with the announcement that it would only stay there for a few months before launching as version 1.0 in the summer, I was already suspicious. Based on my experience with Early Access games, it was impossible for all the promised features to be implemented within such a short time. Unless, of course, those features were intentionally held back. Both are red flags. What can I say? I bought it anyway and had a thoroughly entertaining time playing it during Early Access. It felt a bit shallow, but somehow I was still naive enough to believe that by version 1.0, it would be the game it was advertised to be. Seeing that the Starsand Island shop page has been completely revamped compared to when it was in Early Access… well, okay, I fell for a scam. The housing system is pretty nice, I guess, but the NPCs are as flat as a puddle of water, and visually there’s not enough variety either. (And no, I don’t mean “diversity stuff.” I mean that many of them just look too similar and lack any real characteristics that make them “unique.”) Dating system? Nope! But they aren’t even advertising that anymore. I am, quite simply, disappointed. I don't think I'll be playing Starsand Island much in the future. The market is full of games in this genre, and many of them do a better job than this one.
