This games.. mid-game? End-game? Whatever.. is just a boring grind. It starts off strong with a story that sends you places to do this and as you upgrade your ship you feel you're progressing. But then it just runs face first into a wall at the point where you're supposed to build the big planet destroying ship. The amount of resources that things research takes is mad. I'm pretty sure I'd be able to conquer half the map before I had enough resources to finish it. But I'm not even going to bother as that's far too much effort. Also I quickly read up on what the next story steps involve after this maddening grind is finished and that is just lazy.. The game might offer some enjoyment as you build up. But once you enter the stage of the game where it should open up it just serves up an endless boring grind. So maybe worth it at a steep discount or if you want to do something utterly monotonous for days on end. Otherwise meh..

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fairly simple space game. With a mixed Space opera ship captain/rts/commander role. You take charge of a faction and work your way up the ship ladder and faction ladder roles. Building your faction to power and dominance. Live action and True real time make it different from most of the other games out there, though the npc faction is stupid, and the story is kinda old school, and not in the good way. Still, it isn't terrible.
It reminds me of my time spent playing Starsector.. It's far more forgiving, and visually pleasing. It is a little disappointing that the modding community hasn't swarmed this game like others. Nexus only has around 15 mods for it, so it must not be that mod friendly of a game. The controls are different than other space sims. I had the same issues when I first started playing the Mechwarrior games back in the day, but I got used to it. This is no different. Get it on sale if you can, you won't be disappointed if you like a good space combat/management romp.
the game still good even 2025
норм
Material starved from the fleets you eventually get leveled up with weak fleets and don't have the resources to replenish losses and you cannot expand further due to battleships showing up when you can't even afford destroyers.
1) This is not a spaceship combat game: A) Ship maneuver is too agile and firing rate is too fast; it's more a fighter than a ship. B) No momentum; in Space, there is nothing to slow you down, yet in this game as soon as you shut down the engine you are stopped right at that spot. 2) Confusing controls, strange UI, weird camera controls. Not recommended.
great game. Like it so far.
Does not offer full controller support as advertised. The right stick is not working.
