Space has never looked so inviting - but images can betray...It has been two years since the end of the second Gemini war, the situation in the wartorn system is further from resolution than ever.

The game has gotten worse since last I played it in 2021. More glitches, more bad AI, more terrible auto-turret handling. Some enemies can just make all of my shields on my battleship simply vanish.
I think this game is great on the steam deck. The controls work nicely, performance has no issues, the gameplay is simple and easy to pick up and play for a bit before bedtime to scratch that itch. Dunno if I would stick with it on desktop, but on the deck it's honestly great.
This game is simple and fun. get your ship and grow from a minnow to a shark. it's good fun, and the workshop/community has some great mods that can enhance the experience.
the story doesn't really grip you until about 3 hrs in, but it's really well done, voice acting is laughable, the controls flat out suck, it's a bit of a grind fly to location fight, rinse and repeat. The story takes awhile to get rolling but when it does, it's the best part of this game. Getting this game on sale is your best option if you ask me. Some may like it others may not, but I give it a thumbs up for the simple fact that the story is good.
idk what this is but it was free when I got it so idk what this is
Starpoint Gemini 2 lacks the complexity of "big" space-sims like Elite Dangerous and X series, but it's very approachable. It doesn't take hours and googling guides to get into it. So this game would be perfect for someone who is interested in the genre, but maybe is intimidated by how difficult games of this type can be to get into. One of the most satisfying things about SG2 is ship progression - from starting in a small gunship to finishing the game in a huge carrier launching squadrons of fighters or a Titan ship that can alone wipe out a whole fleet.
I still can't find a game that beats this experience. The blend of strategy with situational tactics was perfect.
i really like this one ! I first got it on xbox one and put hundreds of hours into it and its even better on pc.
