Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ein Spiel das sich selbst beschreibt

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I really enjoy that Starfield takes place in our own universe, just centuries in the future. The setting feels more grounded than a lot of sci-fi RPGs, and I like that humanity’s expansion into space still feels recognizably human: political factions, corporations, religious movements, explorers, pirates, soldiers, and people just trying to survive. One thing that may drive some players away is the lack of intelligent alien civilizations. There are no alien races to compare humanity against, so the game is less about humans meeting the unknown and more about humanity confronting itself among the stars. Personally, I think that gives the game a different kind of identity. The Settled Systems feel shaped by human ambition, fear, faith, greed, curiosity, and conflict. The main story also stands out because it does not simply make you the obvious hero of the galaxy. As you obtain Starborn powers and learn more about the Unity, the story becomes more philosophical and existential. It asks what exploration, power, identity, mortality, and repetition actually mean. The main quest is less about saving everyone and more about deciding how you respond to the possibility of becoming something beyond ordinary human life. The faction missions are where you earn your reputation as a hero, reformer, soldier, investigator, ranger, pirate, or whatever role you choose to embody. That separation works well: the main quest deals with cosmic meaning, while the faction quests ground you in the lives and struggles of the Settled Systems. All in all, I love Starfield. It is a game built around replayability, roleplay, and interpretation. Its slower pace and more human-centered universe may not appeal to everyone, but for me, that is part of what makes it special.
Just the right amount of scripted story, sandbox, and interesting replayability mechanic. Not for multiplayer game lovers. But if you like working your way through stories and can set personal goals for yourself in an open-ish universe, this has a good amount of playtime going for it.
I dont know where to fall on this game. People say Elder scrolls in space but tbh its fallout in space. If your willing to really commit to a deep rpg and you enjoy space as a setting then this is a good game. The assets are all recycled from F4.
This game runs swimmingly on Steam OS, just make sure you get the engine fix mods on nexus, otherwise you will have a lot of stuttering. But as for the game itself, I would give it a solid 7/10. Not as bad as people tend to think of it as, but does not compare to a Fallout or an Elder Scrolls. The gunplay is probably as good as it has ever been in a bethesda game, but there is much about this that is admittedly kind of generic. But the exploring is fun, the combat is fun, and the usual shenanigans that you can get up to in a bethesda game is all there. (Note) This a review of the base game only. I do not have the DLCs.
This game deeply resonates with where I'm at on the spectrum lol. It's the ultimate immersive survival space sandbox game and also somehow I can make a character that looks exactly like me! Then fly around and fill my ship up with piles of space garbage and mementos as I travel. I feel seen, Todd <3
It might not be anything original in setting, plot, and gameplay loop, but the familiarity of everything makes it easy to get lost in the world and enjoy exploration and combat for hours on end. Building your own outpost that you can explore is a lot of fun, altough I feel like the outpost defense part of the game was underutilized.
I have a lot of fun with the game in its current state and form.
