played odyssey list, no clue what vanilla is like + good writing + MSQ was very good + UC Vanguard was amazing + Freestar was a good story + liked the skills + liked most of the cities + ships were pretty cool - didnt like itemization - performance was horrendous - ui/ux was not great (pressing tab multiple times, slow menus) - didnt really like most of the planets - quest structure was too samey ( talk to a guy to get something, that guy wants you to get him something in return) - persuasion check for the final quest is a stupid idea
Stealth doesn't work properly. outdoors I can sneak around right in front of someone and shoot them in the face and they cant detect me most of the time - this while wearing a full spacesuit, and even oftentimes while shooting them at short range. (yes, weight affects detection.) indoors i can barely and sometimes not even walk behind someone without getting caught - all stealth skills maxxed, stealth clothes on, no armor, everyone in the building is instantly alerted when i make a sneak attack with a silenced weapon and kill the target. Kind of realistic in that regard because silencers don't actually fully silence the weapon, but certainly not what the average person is looking for in their stealth gameplay. Most of indoor stealth just turns into running around in the oversized vents like some sort of giant, (hu)man-shaped rat.
Starfield.
Literally unplayable. Crash crash crash. Frame drop. Lag lag lag. Other AAA games work just fine on my computer. This game is a complete disaster.
Not a good game. It honestly felt more like a loading screen simulator than a game. The alien powers feel like a imitation to the dragonborn ones from Skyrim. The story feels predictable and boring. The romances feel childlike and just added on because they felt like it is needed. The whole game is wasted potential
procedurally generated trash
It was actually the first Bethesda game I have played and I love the fact I can play without joining any faction is awesome. I love the fact I can just drop off the artifact and walk out the door and explore the planets :D
It's pretty fun. Not like other Bethesda games, but still pretty fun.
