Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Starcom Unknown space is an EXCELLENT fusion between games like Starsector and Avorion, despite being top down it's done phenomenal job at giving you that feeling of "deep space exploration", it has in-depth ship customization system, many fancy weapons, trading, story telling and Xenoculture interaction with other factions, the game also brings your ship crew to life better than any other space game i have ever played. 11/10

I love everything about this game, even the fact that it won't hold your hand in questing, and that is due to the nature and feeling of the game, it is not rushed, it is not pushing you, you do it at your own pace/leisure. You lack upgrades? go explore make some rp and metals. You stuck with questing go explore and chat with anyone, smth will turn up. Make friends, make allies, resist the religious nuts and enjoy a world that is alien and yet familiar
Solid 30 hours of boldly going with a fully customizable ship while firing epic beam weapons and using jump gates. - 4.8/5 for space exploration (-0.2 for semi-invisible [strike]walls[/strike] dark nebula that keeps you from boldly going to certain places), - 2/5 for space opera (the plot is fine, but the crew is just kissing you up the whole time) - 4/5 for space adventures (some mission objectives are pretty obscure and difficult to figure out even after backreading logs)
Damn it. they did it! They made the SECOND game still entertaining and engaging. I played and completed the original game with most if not all quests and achivements. When new game came out I was sure it will be the same gameplay and will therefore be... boring. Well... it is same gameplay. But its still super engaging. Its clearly done with passion and attention to detail. New story is interesting. New features are neat. In short: this feels like your own Star Trek Voyager. You explore. And explore. And continue untill its 2AM and you still think to yourself "one more star..."
Good top down 2d space shootey exploring game! Can be finished in ~25-30 hours if you want to
its good.
It tells an interesting story. Gameplay is nothing special, but at least it works pretty well. The ship building is pretty fun. Wish there was more interaction with the crew members outside of just them randomly saying something or responding to a situation. Overall a decent game, grab it on a sale.
good
I bought this game after watching Jingles play it a few times. I am very satisfied. I wish I had bought the prequel when it was bundled and on sale too.
