Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Sep 12 → 3.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For an unfinished game it is "OK" - maybe a 6/10. The storyline and history is incoherent and often times self-contradictory and certainly contradictory to what happened in the original game such that it makes you wonder if they even played it. Add to that for whatever reason the creators also had a hate on for the Jedi Order, yet didn't argue why or how the Jedi teachings were flawed. Beyond that irritation though, the gameplay and missions/quests are mostly all right. Kreia is probably one of the best video game characters and so I have to give Obsidian credit on that.
The force is STRONG with this one.
semplicemente una delle migliori coppie di giochi a tema star wars
Le premier était cool mais celui la l'est encore plus.
may the force be with you
Knights of the old Republic II is a technically dated mess with a fairly middling combat system that is only marginally improved over its predecessor that fortunately gets propelled to quite a satisfying experience due to the games excellent writing. KOTOR 2 is not perfect, the game even with the restored content mod is still unfinished, and if you are looking for an rpg or even just a Star Wars experience to get lost to and immersed in, this game probably isn't going to be for you. The environments are fairly drab and look bad even by 2005 standards, and in all honesty, the gameplay is fairly boring with barely any meaningful decisions other than what companions you fight with and the color of your lightsaber, with all of this continuing for 30+ hours. Instead KOTOR 2 should really be approached almost as if it were a piece of literature. Where its predecessor was a colorful, by the books Star Wars experience with a fairly clear good and bad, letting the player fulfill their own star wars fantasy of being a evil force lightning wielding sith, or a paragon all jedi should aspire to be, KOTOR 2 is instead about taking the role of someone disconnected from the pure duality of the force and letting yourself as a player seek to answer questions the game proposes about morality in all manner of contexts, all while managing to avoid betraying many of the themes established by the original films. Compared to the first Knights of the old Republic, KOTOR 2 has much more mature themes, and accompanying that, much more thought out dialogue that, while not perfect, comes across as noticeably less childish than the naively good and mustache twirling evil than what came before. There is a lot more gravitas to the words that are said, and to the events that transpire which was sorely missing from KOTOR 1 as the characters feel much more real, despite the sometimes poor voice performances. Factions and characters here are much more fluid and can't be called Altruistically good, or purely and maniacally evil. This gets further expanded upon as even within your own ranks, there are a lot more interactions between characters that don't involve you which truly adds to this more broad and nuanced approach while it also helps to give the idea that your companions are not just robots waiting for you to activate. Seeing them talk about their own histories, spying on each other, or just playing a game of pazaak with one another adds so much compared to just waiting for certain triggers to advance the next companion dialogue chapters. While ultimately a flawed, rushed game, and one that need be approached with an open mindset, KOTOR 2 certainly exceeds beyond being just a good Star Wars experience and is something that has solidified itself in a sort of special place for me. Some notes on the technical side of things. Download the Restored Content mod (specifically the one WITHOUT the m4-78 planet) from the workshop and make sure to play the game locked to 60fps and save often in multiple slots (I had 3 save slots that were rarely 10 minutes apart for context, though I never had any crashes or save corruptions.)
