STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II - The Sith Lords™

I've played this game countless times, on every platform imaginable. It never gets old. Its (in my humble opinion) THE BEST Star Wars game ever made. I can't recommend it enough, If you like Star Wars and have never played, get this game. If you don't like Star Wars get this game. You also don't need to play the first one to understand this one (although I recommend it). You will not, and can not be disappointed by this game.

After 46 hours, KOTOR 2 is... okay. Just kidding. Listen, BioWare had something special back in the day. The score, the dialogue, the characters. KOTOR blew me away, and its sequel was no exception. You can definitely tell Obsidian wanted to include more content and had to cut some things, but they still created a more than faithful sequel to what BioWare started. Thank you to the modders who helped restore some of that missing content. KOTOR 2 dives much deeper into the dark side of Star Wars, and the whole galaxy feels more chaotic because of it. Even after all these years, it’s still a fantastic game. Also, whoever wrote Kreia’s dialogue needed a raise. The visuals get a slight boost, and we finally have proper Jedi robes with capes. There are new powers and abilities to explore, along with the ability to influence your companions’ alignment. You can even teach some of them the ways of the Jedi or Sith. Performance on Steam Deck, to the surprise of absolutely nobody, is fantastic. The controls actually map properly here, unlike in KOTOR 1, and the community has some great layouts if you want to change anything. My only real regret is that we never got KOTOR 3, but perhaps someday that will change. If you’re still waiting for a remake, don’t just buy KOTOR 2. Experience it, mod it, and have fun. Trust me. Why would a stranger on the internet lie?
