STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II - The Sith Lords™

On one level, it is a very fun video game. On another level, it is a philosophical treatise. The two are interlinked. Every character flaw, quest reward, and dialogue option might have allegorical resonance if you are careful enough to spot it. And also, some of the worlds and quests are really annoying and poorly planned. Pazaak is kinda fun. The pod racing is flashy but clunky. And the ending is tragicallly underfinished. But 99/10, probably the best video game I've ever played. Playing with the Restored Content Mod is a MUST.

Peak

Its an old game and some of the restored content mods don't happen in chronological order. The influence system is also not perfect. However, a great game that tackles some serious questions about the force and is the engaging exploration if the force and a galaxy far far away ever tackled in the video game and i dare say all of the star wars medium. Don't go to nar shada as your first planet, you will get recked.

graphics show age but is better then the first. disney wishes they could come up with a game as good or better.

Unironically the best Star Wars ever made.

Install some mods, maybe find a guide or two, and sit down and relax. Enjoy not just one of the best Star Wars games, but one of the best games of all time. Is it unfinished? Yes. Is it unbalanced and buggy? Yes. Does that change the fact that it has some of the best writing in video game history? No. Play this game. It is worth every single cent.

Don't let my game time decive you i've played my fair share of KOTOR II back in the day, this one is hands down the BEST Star Wars content ever made, Obsidian games have always been great at story telling and they 100% outshine Bioware with the sequel, and the steam version... Man chefs kisses all around, not only does it run great out of the "box" but it also has steam workshop, so modding this allready great game is extremely easy unlike in the olden days. 10/10 if i ever get amnesia get me to play this game again for the first time
