Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Sep 12 → 7/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Best Star Wars RTS out there
If you love the original Star Wars Battlefront games, this is essentially the RTS version, featuring very fun space and land battles with many maps. Objectively, the smooth controls, high fidelity zoom and camera adjustment make this one of the best in the RTS genre for pc. On top of this, the modding community takes a rather content limited game after a couple dozen hours, and gives you hundreds of hours of content to enjoy. Every era of star wars from the old republic to the new republic can be controlled in space and in land, with thousands of troop options and hundreds game modes. This is one of those games I wish I had played for all of my life. 10/10 make sure to try the community mods that make this game so lovable even after 20 years since release.
{edit: spelling mistakes} <Star Destoyer Reporting> I absolutely adore this game. If you've ever wondered what Command & Conquer would feel like with a Star Wars skin, this is it. It runs remarkably well on the Steam Deck. Even during massive battles with dozens of units, space engagements, and complete battlefield chaos, performance stays surprisingly solid ---(if you avoid the graphically intensive mods on the workshop) From what I've played, the campaigns on both base and the FoC expansion are excellent. They do a great job of making you feel like you're commanding a real Galactic Civil War, and the game is packed with Expanded Universe content, deep-cut references, and Easter eggs that longtime Star Wars fans will appreciate. One of my favourite details is the inclusion of the Arc Hammer from Dark Forces (I love this game, you should definitely try it) actually functions as the factory ship it was in the lore deploying dark troopers to the planet surface as reinforcements, which is exactly the kind of attention to detail I love seeing. Overall, Empire at War is one of the (best and few) Star Wars RTS games ever made, with the incredible modding scene, it's easy to sink hundreds of hours into it. If you're playing on Steam Deck or not, it's an easy recommendation along as you avoid graphically intensive mods (unfortunately "thrawns Revenge* hates the Deck as one example) your absolutely golden. (I highly recommend you try the *Age of Legends* mod if you want something similar that functions pretty good on the decks hardware, I love it)

The base game shows its age. The AI is dumb, the pathfinding is janky, and the campaign balance leaves a lot to be desired by modern RTS standards. If you're coming in expecting something that plays as smoothly as current strategy titles, you'll probably be disappointed. That said, the modding community is where this game truly shines. Years after release, people are still building and updating massive overhauls that add new factions, rebalance the economy, expand the galaxy map, and bring in eras and content that never made it into the vanilla game. Some of these mods are more polished and content rich than a lot of full price releases. I'm a big fan of the Clone Wars era, and this is genuinely one of the best places to experience it in game form. There are several excellent mods dedicated to that period, with detailed unit rosters, iconic ships, and campaigns that capture the feel of the era in a way few other games manage. If you're buying this purely for the base game, temper your expectations. If you're buying it as a foundation for mods, this is an easy recommend. Just know upfront that you'll want to spend time in the Workshop and mod forums to get the most out of it. Recommended, with the mod community doing most of the heavy lifting.
