Had to have it refunded like everyone else. What a disappointment. No QC from anyone it seems. Stay away.
If you are looking to just play single player (which is what I did with the original game) then you are gonna have a good time. It may be a bit janky, but that mess was around in the original. They really aren't reinventing the wheel here. A tiny polish to the graphics maybe, but overall the same games I loved growing up.

Blast from the past! Had my nostalgia goggles on during the whole playthrough and loved every second of it. Obviously the multiplayer is dead but even if it were alive it wouldn't have been the same. The 3 single player campaigns are great fun, seeing the wee video scenes with snippets from the movies has got me watching through the trilogies again. Galactic conquest is as an absolute blast. The achievements had me find things in the game I never knew existed. Had a great time playing through this one, don't think it deserves the hate it gets but I do understand that many people really hyped for the multiplayer and that it was a huge let down in that department.
Way to ruin my nostalgia. Buy the originals for less and use mods.

I hear ya all, you're mad, mad at a poor release, at a "Cash grab" but let's be honest. Battlefront one and two online did not work properly when it was originaly and up to this day, it still does not work if you did not install mods. Even with the mods, you do have crashes. (BOu ouOUH). By buying Battlefront Classic Collection from Aspyr, here's what you get... the previlege to play Battlefront one and two without having to install all the nice mods that make them nicer and crashless. I'm not saying Classic Collection is perfect, but they did fix alot of the issues. You have the option to... buy the og's seperatly, or buy the collection for 20$ more and have both together with pre installed mod. Else, the game was fixed, so all the negative review regarding the game issues, it's only due to butt hurt people. Anyhow, dear adventurer, choose what you prefer but choose your poison right. As long as you enjoy the game, that's all what matter.
