Not sure what most the negative reviews are about, at least give system specs when saying it launches to a black screen, BF2 ran beautifully on my system, BF1 had a weird glitch in it but that was patched pretty quickly, there is even a user that refunded the game with only 0.1 hours played which btw you only have to boot up the game to get and their response was no. but BF2 I was getting max fps on my monitor of 144hz at 1440 by 3440 only because I limited it to that fps if unlocked I would get over 500fps
When i originally saw this, I had hopes that it would be an amalgamation of the best of both games. A press them together and get the ultimate game, a classic Star Wars Battlefront 2.5 basically. This was FAR from the case. On top of that, the launcher is very clunky. To compile a list of instant actions is tedious at best. I get that its the "same" as what the PS2 version was back in the day, but this is just not acceptable now adays.

No one is playing the game because its bad and expensive. You will find more player and will have more fun on the original and will pay less.
Garbage
I remember playing this on my old playstation 2 of both the old battlefront 1 and 2. Doing the campaign again give me so many memories of playing it on the ps2. And setting up my own custom matches since I used to play on the space battles alot. There isn't that many bugs at launched of the collection but the singleplayer and multiplayer are fun as hell. 7/10
In my opinion this is a great game. I'm very pleased with the fact that it has controller support. The game would be even better and i would rate it higher with a few more updates to fix issues however. There are achievements that aren't popping even after completing the requirements. One of which is Just Like the Simulations the achievement for getting the first endurance medal.
if you have the original just play that, but if you don't, its only worth it if you think you will enjoy galactic conquest, other games do most parts better, i personally like galactic conquest so i enjoying it, i tried online multiplayer but it was kinda mid.
So I grew up without wifi or internet and mostly played this game by myself or with my friend and it was great! its the same as I remember so I love it but thats just my opinion... most of the hate is the lack of multiplayer thats really about it.
Le jeu est mieux qu'avant, les maps battlefront rajouté sur le 2, aucun bug ou plantage pour ma part, beaucoup plus de choix sur les modes de jeu et paramètres des parties et en plus il y a des succès, j'adore!
