Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

why is this mostly negative i dont get it guys.
They fixed all the launch issues that tanked the game. It works well offline and online now, but after the broken launch no one plays it; all the multiplayer servers are dead. Hopefully people will come back to this collection someday

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

After the initial release fiasco, I do believe everything is back to working order besides the AI being a little goofier than the original. I never attempted the online play so I have no clue if that was fixed and worthwhile. Still ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that they stole the mod for the dlc characters in battlefront 2 and no one is forgetting that anytime soon. Overall tho, it's not a remaster, more like a re-release for modern systems that is worth picking up on sale.
Game is still buggy at times. Hardly anyone on either of the servers. Battlefront (2004) has only 3 servers but Battlefront II (2005) has several now but no one is in them. Over the past 2 weeks I've played sporadically and doesn't seem to be more than 20 people in all the servers combined at any one time. Aspyr really done messed up. Save your money and just buy the regular ones available on steam. It'll save you the money and further disappointment.
better now, needs more players
It's fine and works, however it's directly competing with the original versions of battlefront 1 & 2 that are also on steam and $15 cheaper when put together. For the extra price you get upscaled textures, some DLC and BF1 maps in BF2, achievements, native controller support, and proper UI scaling so you can play in 4k. You also lose most of your ability to mod the game, though you can port map mods through a somewhat annoying manual process. Overall I prefer this version, I like the achievements and compatibility with modern hardware (the original covers my second monitor with a white screen and only really likes 1080p). That being said I can see how some view this as a downgrade, especially if they are big on modding.
:(
scam don't buy
The Update III has added a long awaited AI heroes and optimised the game size from 70 gigabytes to 30. Also fixed most of the notorious launch issues and also some bugs that plagued the original game for almost 20 years. The game had a truly harsh start but with the above fixes and also the fact It's optimised for modern systems and has achievements I can confidently say it's the best version of 2000's Battlefronts you can play right now but only if you are focused on single player vanilla modes only.
